I personally am not spoofer & I don’t have problem if somebody choose to do it. I think that some spoofers out there help a lot of other players with their collections. I feel is you spoof to an area just to see what’s around & what you can catch, yeah it’s a slight advantage but that’s fine. If are using it to locate and catch a particular Pokémon (such as a “shundo”), that’s the unfair advantage. I’m ok with having a few regional Pokémon & encouraging people to travel. But making regional events isn’t fair.

I have been stuck at home for the last week with a fractured shoulder. I have 1 stop within walking distance from my house & hardly any Pokémon spawn. So also understand that people how are sick or disabled mine use spoofing fairly.

I got banned for 7 days. I use ipogo because pokemon go in the appstore here in nigeria is not available and in the place where i am staying is far from the only 1 stop and 1 gym in this place. I spoof to alleviate my loneliness since i am working away from my family and love ones and i am staying alone in my apartment

Using pokegenie to nickname your Pokemon with their stats is not considered spoofing right? Not checking wild Pokemon that you haven’t caught yet stats, or going to some place across the world where you are no where near to get a said Shundo. No just using pokegenie to read the Pokemon that you already caught stats and copy and paste the nickname with the number of each of their stats to add to my Pokemon’s nickname. This can’t be considered cheating just merely changing your Pokemon’s nicknames based on their stats with pokegenie?

Who cares? It’s a game on your phone. You should be able to play the way you want to play. Niantic gonna lose a lot of money and a lot of players if they eliminate spoofing. Spoofers spend a lot of money and they love the game.

I don’t care what other people wanna do. If you like to work for your Pokemon, good. If you wanna be lazy and cheap, spoof. Whatever. Lol. It doesn’t effect me. I hate when people hate on others for their choices. Worry about yourself folks. I play normally and haven’t felt bothered by what spoofers do.

I personally don’t spoof my self but tbh you cant blame people who do it sometimes especially when niantic changed the spawn rates from incense i know they just brought it back to how it was, and they are encouraging people to go out and play since that’s their goal for the game since it started but would it really hurt them to increase the spawn rates for incense? It would help a lot of the people who are in their home playing and have different reasons for not going out. I’ve been playing pogo since day 1 and i know a lot of people starting to quit because of this reason. I know my comment here wouldn’t matter anyway but i just wanted to share my thoughts and im pretty sure im not alone in this. Have a good day

Being able to have the funds to travel all over the world or even travel from city to city is practically impossible for I’d say most players that do spoof. Personally, I don’t spoof but I have friends that do and I get it because it’s sooo hard to play anywhere close to our area and I for one definitely don’t have the funds to travel…much less the ability to go an hour or so away just to have a decent location to play at. It’s all unfair to begin with imo. It’s become a game where you have to have money to play any decent way and especially in this economy, it’s just not feasible. When you only have a handful of stops and gyms close by or have to drive 10-20 mins away to do one raid that you may be lucky enough to get 3 or 4 friends to remote raid with…it just makes the game feel like it’s not worth playing sometimes…

Hey how about you focus on the major problems with PoGo…
1) Gambling: The game is basically a pay to win mechanic with Niandick wanting you to shell out hundreds of dollars just to try and get that perfect IV mewtwo or deino. During the Global Gofest I did well over one hundred deino raids and guess how many shinys I caught…two, that’s right I spent around $150.00 on raid passes for two two stared shiny deinos…how is that fair especially when raid shinies are 1/20. you keep stating shiny this and hundo that, come on its the same odds everywhere you go, it doesn’t change if you spoof or not, it all comes don’t to luck and patience. You and every other PoGo Youtuber are so outta touch dude it’s a shame…Niantic pays you to play events and when you’re not playing events, you go back home to a huge city with plenty of gyms (to raid) and pokestops (to spin). Like dude come off it. Also stop talking about flexing, my friend whom has never spoofed constantly flexes shinies and hundos, flexing is just a normal human trait. When you post videos from CD aren’t you flexing to those whom aren’t able to play?? Think about this…when Gofest is over and Niantic product margins start to slowly decline here’s what’s going to happen (1) release new pokemon and possibly make it shiny, 2) make it appear only in 1☆ or 3☆ raids, 3) create a regularly “cheap” raid bundle w/ like 3 passes, 4) tell you it’s “1/20 chance to be shiny” knowing its around “1/125 chamce” and to make it seem possible to obtain, 5) laugh all the way to the bank..

2) Temperature: what if you live in suburban/rural like Arizona, Nevada, hell every Australia where it can get well over 100°, how do you expect people from those areas to play…especially AUS and CA where you guys have constant brush and forest fires, or in places like Wisconsin or Minnesota when temperatures drop to below freezing.

3) Feedback: All of you PoGo tubers keep saying things like “I talked with Niantic” and “They said they’re fixing the problem” but the truth is they aren’t..you talk about bots well how about the bots on Niantics side..their customers service is atrocious to say the least..you can’t tell me a bot doesn’t respond to my emails I constantly send Niantic. With all the money they receive they should hire an entire team to customer service representatives to comb thru the email pool instead of letting bots answer or worst throwing them in the trash. They don’t care about our feedback and if they do they’ll fix it (temporarily) and then go back to the way it was because they know in the end we’ll still play the game and spend money.

4) Trading: the trade distance is far too small 10km< now and 40km< during events..like you I have friends all over the world whom play and I am lucky friends with themm too, but unlike you I won't be able to travel to those countries and trade them..they had the right idea to make a networking app that let's you communicate with your friends but the drawback is I'm never gonna meet or trade them if they live in another country so whats the point. Niantic wants to unite the world through PoGo but all they did was divide it even more with region locks and low distance trades. This game is anything but fair and for you a paid sponsorship player to saying other than is presumptuous and rube...have a great day and co.e back to reality

The game doesn’t have a level playing field otherwise everyone would be ok with the game. Niantic need to drop regionals and in person events like Go Fest Berlin etc. It’s Elitist and only for those who have the $$$ or close enough too get too a location. Fix GBL issues and all the other issues with the game…
