The problem is that Niantic does not seem to follow their “3 strike policy” at all. People who get flagged get permanently suspended for the first offense. I’d like to hear your opinion on that.

Can we report spoofers? I’m sick and tired of the gym campers in my area..
I walk or drive around from gym to gym putting in the work, only for a group of 3 mystic accounts to literally keep feeding berries or immediately knock me out as soon as I take a gym. It’s insanely frustrating.

Sorry but if NIANTIC banned 🚫 every spoofer they would loose millions a year. NIANTIC is against it but they ain’t 100% at the same time. Gesus it’s 2022 spoofing is still a thing lol 🤣

I wouldn’t spoof or cheat because it makes the victory and rewards hollow. There is nothing as cool as seeing a shiny appear in the catch, or getting a hundo. But we as rural players have found a non cheating work around for some issues that plague rural players, such as we have some fake accounts we played up to level 30 and transfer pokemon to and created raid buddies for ourselves so we could actually take on raids, and we unfriend and friend them when the special research asks for you to make new friends. Its very hard for rural players and Niantic seems to continue to push their “tough noogies and if you don’t like it move to a big city” attitude, hopefully they will change that soon and find some way to make small town rural players able to actually play and advance. The increased incense was pretty darn amazing and pretty much fixed the issues, but raids were still very out of reach, but they are making that communication app so that will be cool.

The whole point of the game is to have pokemon be in the real world. Sorry you can’t have pokemon from Japan unless you go to Japan. Kind of the point. Japan people don’t have America ones so stop crying. It’s literally the same for everyone. People are so used to having everything all the time no matter when it is we forgot what its like to be told no. Or work for it. Imagine ash crying because he heard there’s no lugias in kanto and he has to travel all the way to johto region… you get what’s around there, period. You can’t supply the data to have pokemon spawning every 3 feet no matter if people are there or not. It’s decided by cell phone activity. You want more spawns in a area. Call a bunch of people from that area all the time problem solved. My job is one of the best spots because everyone is one there phone all day. It’s literally a warehouse in the mountains near nothing. Was no spawns before. Now it’s jumping a year later. Niantic can fix a lot more than they do but think… this is on a GLOBAL scale. Just 20 to 30 years ago you didn’t know what the hell was happening on the other side of the world let alone if they’re getting a pokemon a week earlier than you. If everyone could have everything than no trainers are different. There’s nothing unique about your collection. Nothing special about what you caught. I like knowing what I caught not everyone can. And when I see what you got and I couldn’t it’s even more crazy. And wait! If we happen to meet and trade! Holy! Whoa! Wait, isn’t that what the game does? Niantic can make those things easier for sure like eliminate trade distance all together makes sense. If your friends what’s the problem with trading anytime. Just put a limit on it or something. Ok I’m talking to much. Quit crying people they’re supposed to be rare and hard to catch. Try catching a squirrel or something an lemme know how that worked out for ya.

here my experience got banned for 2 days without spoofing. but Niantic wont lisent .. this kind BS for legit players getting banned for no reason. i quit playing. this game for 4 years beucase of that. i spend money on this game to Travel other part of country. yet many haters out there . don’t blame legit players like this. i travel Japan , Philippines , Hawaii before but im sick of it getting banned many times for no reason. move on life. this is a not a Joy stick playing on game boy or what so ever. i so many people cheating walking Distance a lot.
people need to learn how to play this game. Rami kase pasaway na tao dito.

Niantic really wants people to stop playing their game. Clearly rural people have no reason to play unless they can spoof to an area that is actually playable. But yeah let’s call it an unfair advantage when content creators are the only ones who can really go to Berlin for an in person event because they can make money doing so.

I’ve spoofed in 2017 and when I reeinstaled the game last year I transfered all my pokemons )even the 100%) so I wouldnt have the advantages

If Niantic really wants it to be “fair” for everyone, then maybe don’t make exclusive events and price the items at a more affordable rate? I literally only play Pokemon Go when I travel to the city which is like 2 hrs away and even then, only a small amount of people actually participate in the raids.

I’d love to know what Niantic and PoGo are doing about the spoofer streamers who also put their accounts on youtube. I can think of 2 streamers who have massive accounts on youtube and make their living spoofing PoGo.

I actually find those channels boring. I prefer watching Billy, Nick and Zoe who play the game as it should be. The most i have done is use a Gotcha. I work full time, have a mobility impairment, live in a semi rural area. Yet i started playing in 2020 because of Covid. I used my 1 hour exercise each day during lock down to go outside and play with 1 gym and 3 stops in my town. I’ve reached level 46 and i’m perfectly happy with no cheating at all. It can be done.

For those that don’t know, if you can afford a few remote passes, there are discords dedicated bringing players together for raids and also becoming friends for gifts can help with the lack of stops. Kinda off topic but it helps a little and you don’t have to risk a ban

However, even if spoofers get any kind of advantadge, that does not put regular players on a disadvantadge. In other words, spoofers will not make regular player’s game experience worse.
