bruh niantic is throwing away free money, they are making the STUPIDEST mistake possible. whoever is in charge of PR is on vacation. remote raid passes are the ONLY reason i spend money on this game and wouldn’t raid without it

This is truly the worst thing Niantic has ever done. Remote raids made it possible for people who were never able to raid before (eg rural and disabled players) to raid. Plus it makes grinding XL candy for good legendaries damn near impossible. I hope this gets as much outcry as the stop distance reversal did and the decision gets reverted.

It always was made clear from the beginning that remote raids are going to get nerfed over time. They speak against the true intention of this game. Also who does more than 5 remote raids a day? I do think that raising their prices that much is unnecessary though… i think they should buff in person raids instead. What i like about this is that it is more important now to have strong raid attackers as it will be harder to get additional players to join your raid through remote raid passes. Right now really anybody can easily beat any raid boss because of raid invites and it‘s not that necessary to have strong pokemon.
