Bruh
I literally have 1 gym within walking distance. Nobody plays near me either
rip remote raids
Nocoinsjune if no one buys coins on the biggest month on the calendar they might start listening
I literally have no friends to play with so remote raids are my only way to get 5 star raid wins 🙁
seems like they need the community to remember them that the important ones are the players, and that we are not buying shit anymore if they are this greedy; f*** them, no one should buy anything from now on for a while
This is just insane. Your shiny transfer series was so entertaining. Hopefully they will listen to the community and adjust this a little. I dont see how this will benefit anyone.
and people that remote raid a lot
Nope. @@@@ You Niantic!
I just don’t get it. Like, we know they make money from selling and analyzing our data when we go outside to play, and that’s what they want us to be doing as much as possible. But it’s like they don’t see how impossible it is to do in-person raiding without hours of planning ahead. Elite Raids would never be won if they didn’t have the 24 hour timer and the 3 set hatch times. I live in a HEAVILY populated, urban area, yet very few people actually play Pokémon Go. I can’t imagine the struggle of playing in a rural area.
I’m glad they’ll let us receive a remote pass from the breakthrough box now, pretty much the first time they’ve buffed RB Box since shiny legendaries. But why are we still limited to 3 in the inventory? And why, if we have 3 passes already (or 4 or 5), can they not just stack it on there? Clearly, there’s no issues with having more than 3, so I don’t understand.
In-person raids need a buff more than remote raids need a nerf. In-person raids would likely pop off much more with any buff like double dust, double xp, increased IV floor (11/11/11 or 12/12/12), or something with Rare XL Candy (guarantee or very likely to receive).
Basically, they’ve successfully made remote raiding not worthwhile, but they’ve done nothing to make in-person raiding worthwhile, especially given the necessary planning (and often luck) required to take down a T5/mega without at least a few remote raiders.
I think that Niantic will lose a lot of people and then lower down the price
Why would they do this
Nah we gotta do something bro we cannot let this happen! The players have the power if we make a big deal of this they will change it back.
Doing this so friends and family play together and to increase longevity? Then make these changes without hiking up the prices, especially this much.
Not fooled. It’s all about the money.
Bye Bye Pokemon Go!
Perhaps they could offer a free remote pass for an EX Raid Invitation.
In the end, they need to fund the game – which, let’s face it, in order to keep the game close to players’ hearts and keep them coming back for more, they simply have to provide new and updated content. This takes a team dedicated to doing so, people creating promotional content, people designing the content for the updates, people transforming those designs into functional coding, etc. They are paying employees, ongoing, at all times. So they need money. Lord knows I don’t give them any (I think I once bought an extended research opportunity for $1 back before they started charging a minimum of $5 for everything), so if they are having any trouble staying in the black with the app, then they are going to hike prices for the things they know people are going to be most interested in buying. e.g. remote raid passes. They are the ones who get to determine how much they can get away with charging for these things… and the only real way to stick it to them on this point is for everyone to agree not to buy them with actual money. Don’t pay for poke-coins, in other words. Although… we might then see how long they can go without that money coming in, which might not be long, and then the app dies on the vine… which no one wants either.
Everyone stop buying raidpasses so niantic will see this.
What the hell na stick it to original who agrees with me
this is a good change……this game was ment to be played in person…..fight me.
