You know the lack of community is so ingrained in your playstyle when you just recalculate remote raid budget and the only thing that actually fazes you is the fact that you are capped to 40 attempts to get whatever it is that you want to get until confirmed otherwise.

Before remote raids, I hardly did legendary raids. There aren’t enough people around who play Pokemon Go. The “Community” of my local town is so toxic and elitist, being removed from community groups. I’ve met a few people who have said the same thing in my area.
I think I’ll have to go back to not doing any raids again.

They are not considering folks that are disabled and struggle with travel to raids, whether physical, emotional, or mental. This is a horrible change.

I feel this wouldn’t be as bad of a change, if they added something to balance it out. I think an option would be to reward players for reviewing wayfarer nomination with pokécoins. Give out another like 50 pokécoins daily to those who review a certain amount of nomination. This gives players incentive to start reviewing too and balances out the price increase of the remote passes. It also gives trainers that live in rural areas a way to earn pokécoins if there are no gyms near them.

Personally, as a player with a dead community this is absurd. Increasing the prices will massively effect me because you can get the remote raid for 79p and changing the prices will double that. Me and my friends are incredibly disappointed with this.

i agree with the nerf. whales won’t get lvl 50 legendaires in a single day then. makes it more fair for everyone by closing the gap between rural and whales. i agree rural is hurt by this but hurts the whales much more so the gap still closes a bit. also the game is meant to be played outside, not from your couch whales

I read a Reddit post and it said Niantic is raising the price of a single remote raid pass to 195. That means three remote raid passes are gonna cost 525.
