Niantic are either delusional or could there be external pressures at play contract wise. (Conspiracy theory) Pokemon the brand is owned by Nintendo, creatures and game freak. All are game developers in their own way and although getting a share of profits from Niantic they aren’t fully maximizing their return on their brand asset of Pokémon. Especially on developing and maintaining Pokémon Go that they could quite easily do themselves. Nintendo could also consider Pokémon Go a direct competitor to their own console games with the emergence of PVP and remote play.
Could it be niantic is being pressured to be less of a direct competitor to Nintendo (nerfing remotes) or bigger conspiracy, are the three Pokémon brand owners looking to buy out Pokémon Go from niantic and are able to decrease the valuation via the contract licensing agreement somehow. (Forcing remote raids to be nurfed) ??? Conspiracy theory maybe, Niantic delusional, definitely…

With this update, more obvious gyms will definitely conquered by specific team to earn coins leaving minority player of other team in particular area facing difficulty to earn any.

niantic seems like Pokemon go really just wants to hit the wall.
I personally dropped out after the Hoenn Tour was a failure, traveling from Germany was expensive fun. Let’s see how many get out now, but Niantic can do the rest.

The way how Pogo Wwnt downhill drastically from mid 2017 to early 2019 is exactly how it’s going to be again .. I mean the remote passes are a HUGE play for the community & the fact they’re limiting 5 plays per day? Not only theyre shooting off the community, but slitting their own wrist because it’s solely obvious most of us pay to either get a shiny or hundo or even shundo & that’s over 10-20 raids a day

I expect we will NEVER see them region lock good pokemon like Kartarna to specific regions if they are doing this. Remembering this is ONLY realistic way to collect XL candy for raid only pokemon.

What do Niantic mean when they say: “These changes are designed to re-balance the game”??? This will UNBALANCE the game, because a 75% price increase + daily limit on remote raids will punish: 1) Players that live in remote areas who are ALREADY limited in their gameplay, 2) Players who work alternating schedules who cannot meet up for raids when most other people play, 3) EVERYONE, because now the joy of getting a good IV Legendary pokemon in a raid, will just fade when you have to pay more to raid less, in order to get the XL candy needet to power it up because raidpasses increase 75% in price?? Or do Niantic just think that we all have the time to walk +5.000 KILOMETRES to power up ONE Legendary pokemon to level 50??? 4) This will make it SO much harder for newer players to be able to play in the Master League in PvP !!! This is absolutely heartbreaking !!!

They should just outright remove remote passes instead. No one is willing to pay $5.50/pass.
This is going to increase rule breaking if anything and not just spoofing. As is, I borrowed my friends phone to do an ex raid for him. Borrowing and lending out phones is going to happen much more often.
My issue with this is that I cannot drive and public transportation apart from Uber doesn’t function on Sunday. This makes it hard for me to make it to raids on time that are 6+ miles away. Not to mention no one in my group is willing to raid on Easter.

Niantic is *literally* slowly destroying pokemon go! It started in the Global hoenn tour (no shiny boosts, no half kilometers in the eggs and more….) and now they are destroying the only thing that made people *pay!* for them and actually play the game and enjoy the game and do raids🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ WTF Niantic?! I live in a place with a really *small* pokemon go comunity and remote raid passes are the only way I can do raids😢

I think this is total BS, not everyone who plays Pokemon Go has a group that they can raid with in person, so remote passes are the ONLY option some of us have. I used to be able to go into town to any given raid and there would be a ton of people playing and you could easily just join them, now hardly anyone around me plays it.

I already barley am able to buy one without paying actual money. So the new cost is just dumb. And there are not really any gyms where I live so it should be regional, not global
