So… Almost $6 before taxes for 3 remote raid passes, limiting the remote raids per day, selling garbage bundle packages, having in person only raids. I know people who play the game at home and only remote raid because of mobility issues. Nice to see that Niantic is only concerned about the $$ and not the player community.
Bro not on my birthday. Whyyy😢
Niantic is becoming a new Moonton (Mobile Legends)
No they just killed the game and if this nonsense actually goes into affect I’m done playing it. In 2020 when Armored Mewtwo was in raids I could have caught at least one. I was on the strip in Vegas where there were a bunch of gyms all around me but other than myself there was no one n the gyms raiding so there was. O way to battle one. It’s the same where I live and since I dislike pvp I have no reason to play if raiding becomes what it was before. I figure Niantic will lose a ton of money doing this, but I guess that doesn’t concern them. There isn’t a way for the company to recoup such a loss. Unless this actually an April fools thing but I’ve built my Pokémon for two purposes, for raiding and catching them all. It’s not the walking that’s a problem it’s the community or the lack of one which causes people to have to remote raid to begin with. So if these changes go into affect I won’t be playing anymore and with Niantic’s callous lack of concern for their players it’s not going to bother me to quit
Time to boycott
You just lost all your casual fans and your hardcore fans
Me: Niantic, what is your most profitable portion of the game to all the community?
Niantic: “remote raids”
Also Niantic: “let’s run remote raiding into the ground and bury it. The community doesn’t need them, it won’t effect the game, content creators, or our profit, we will be fine, this can’t possibly backfire….”
RIP Pokémon GO, Niantic really knows how to shoot themselves in the foot here
Well, there goes Twitch raid streams. Unless you walk with a group during Raid hours or Raid Days, it’s gonna be a tad quieter than usual.
Niantic forgot how the numbers of players has lowered in the years, and now, a wave of people are gonna quit again because of this.
Niantic likes to pull stupid crap like this. I lost two daily incenses to a glitch as no pokemon were spawning after walking for 15 minutes. THEY DID NOTHING they sent back the same bot note saying they are sorry but too bad u don’t get anything. First they f up the incenses for people who can’t leave their home and then they f it up even worse by making the remote raid passes limited and more expensive. This has to end, Niantic is just greedy at this point
Look if they want make remote raiding more extreme then at least they have to change the research break through box encounters better
like before we used to get lil legendary pokemon out of it
That ends the game
This change is terrible, I love this game, and I especially love doing 5* raids. There used to be a semi-large pogo community in my area, but it has basically fallen apart. I am in a position where I can’t really go out whenever/wherever I want, and remote raids were really the only way for me to have a semblance of a chance of getting a shiny legendary. I understand that they want people to get outside and play like they used to in the early days of the game, but they changed the game in a way that made raids necessary (removing legends from research breakthroughs). I hope this change receives heavy pushback and is reverted, or that a lot of dedicated players quit/stop spending money. I know personally that niantic won’t get a dollar out of me until this is changed.
I’m so passed they won’t stop pushing this image of going out and playing with friends
I have like 2 friends and neither of them play pokemon go
I quit
And they wonder why there’s spoofers
So the problem with that is, no one in my town plays. There’s only 1 gym. I won’t be able to get legendaries anymore 🙁
I would love to do raids in person but there’s only so much time in a busy adult life. Remote Raids helped out a lot. Now the nearly 100% price increase if pushing me away.
Since the Vegas tour mishaps, I’m less interested in this game.
Niantic really think we have 24/7 free time to do in person raid like we have school and stuff as a student, and other people have their own work to do ,what is niantic high on anyway
