You know why bc I can bearly do remote raid even with the 100 pokecoins price and there uping the price even more wich in my opinion is very sad for the free to play players I will comment on the next video later this week

I cant afford raid passes for that much. In my city very few people play the game and its impossible to do a 5 star raid in person. This is probably going to ruin the game for me.

I’ve never seen a game developer do the exact opposite of what the community wants this blatant before. I’m pretty new to the game and have gotten super into it the last 8 months and was always really excited to collect a new legendary or 5 star raid boss. And it’s worth mentioning that you pay all that for a CHANCE to catch the raid boss. I have plenty that break out of 18 excellent throws and flee, wasting my coins. Since I’m in a small town with not many friends that play I’m pretty much relegated to doing 3 star raids or 5 stars that have double weaknesses. Or do 1 legendary raid every few weeks when I scrounge up enough coins from the few gyms around me. Thinking the 8 months of loving this game and grinding through is gonna get pretty stale now

What is also frustrating is the rural players are going to be the hardest hit. Most times, there few who play, and they can’t get groups to raid. Add in the cost, especially with inflation, and those players won’t be able to afford to raid and will likely quit.
Niantic has stated that they care about Rural players, but this doesn’t reflect that.

Rural players, disabled/homebound, and others depended on remote raids and worldwide servers are filled with many such players. Niantic certainly isn’t looking out for their player base.

I feel they are shooting themselves in the foot on multiple fronts. To me, it’s bad business to try to kill their cash cow and once again ignore their player base.

I, for one, will be raiding even less than I do now. In the summer, it’s not a huge deal, showing for raid hour as long as I’m not in too much pain. Winter?! Yeah, probably not so much, unless it’s for a new mon.
