I sent pokemon go this..Want to share why the increased price on remote raid passes are going to be horrible for our family. My brother has terminal cancer and this game helps all of stay connected. Remote raid passes make it possible for us to play together. He physically isn’t able to go to the gyms. He fortunately lives across the street from a Park, where he can reach and spin 3 stops. A drastic price increase like this. I understand the logistics of the price increase, but Team Burkie is heartbroken that you are ending the ability for my brother to play.Hi Trainer,

Yaaaa they’re trash for this. Who cares how we use the game. They’re still making a ton of money and we as a community enjoy the game how WE want to enjoy it.

The price change is such a joke. After work and other life commitments, the only way I do 5* raids anymore is remote raiding. I’m not paying those new joke prices. So I guess I’m not going to be doing 5* raids from now on because it’s rare I see one on my way home from work and when I do there’s no one around anyway. Also made friends a bit more useful after reaching best friends status – I have no idea who most of them are, so it’s nice to get raid invites and same with inviting them. Ruined PoGo for me TBH. What’s there to be excited about when I now won’t be able to raid legendaries without ridiculous coin spending? Fed up of their “it’s for our community” line when it looks like for the most part they don’t know what the PoGo player base actually wants – or if they do, they simply don’t care

As one of the biggest YouTubers on Pokémon go you need to come together with every other YouTuber and speak against this have everyone come together with their fan base and show Niantic who really runs this shit WE do .. we the fans have supported this app since the day it came out and all they ever do is treat us like shit and rise the prices every other month

Niantic has always been known for unintelligent changes but this takes the cake. There are varieties of issues here number one. Remote Raids are now the norm and frankly we need Niantic to Accept that the value of having remote raids is honestly great for the game. more progress has been made for people remote raiding than not. 2. person raids are awful they’re terrible and very much area based. missing a hatch was the vain of peoples existance but to think me/people wont get the help they need when raiding because who knows if my friends have done 5 remote raids already. it also made doing 15+ raids in a single raid hour possible which really brought the incentive of progression as it’s become a daily grinding ritual for people. 3. The price increase as much as its clearly to divert people from wanting to buy them. is now abysmally over priced now. not only targetting regular whales of the game but also free-to-play players. I’m not one but I always appreciated knowing I can buy a remote raid pass NOT FOR THE PRICE of a bag +50 slot. 4 days for a 50-coin cap for a single raid pass. Niantic has to understand the primary of the community now exists in discord servers and knowing that someone can do different time zone raid hours/Raids freely. this is deeply frustrating to see. Remote raids are now the heart and soul of this game making this game. A streaming game twitch pokemon go outside of pvp deeply suffers from this garbage change. Now changing the mood of watching transfer challenges or even making them deeply/honestly a thing that’s possible the missed content doesn’t only hurt the community but hurts creators from making fun/goofy content i also truly believe this is going to spike spoofers into this game by a large margin as they can buy regular raid passes and auto walk to gyms trying to chase the same experience someone comparatively had by having a non capped remote raid pass. this change is going to further create the gap between a normal player living in NYC. and anyone living in rural areas. Niantic has to accept Remote Raid passes as a norm as they’re the most efficient in this busy world

I do not like the price increase but limiting remote raids is not a big deal. I normally do 2 a day unless it’s raid hour then I do 10 but in person at a park with other trainers.
