Ive said this since 2022 go fest, niantic are garbbing the cash they can before they close the game or cease any updates. Its disgusting.

I can understand Niantic’s reasoning, but I think a 95% increase on the price of remote raid passes and a 75% increase on the 3 pack is a little too high.

If they’d at least make some kind of chatbox so you can spot which players live near (Tinder for PoGo 😂) then it would make sense. There is no one here I know that plays, so I’ll hagelt completely randomly walk into 7 strangers at the exact right time to ever be able to catch a legendary.

It’s not like I’m not willing to go out and play, but this is is very demotivating. 😢

they have an option here. they could definitely lower the level to make poke stops/gyms, which would help the problem a lot, and maybe make the requirements to make one less strict to allow small communities to flourish and get better at the game.

Can’t you get it they want all of the users to spoof cuz u’ve been complaining about spoofers and how they ruin the game on you, to ban the half or the majority of users will cost the company a lot of money 🤑 that why they push you step by step towards that and make it legit and legall😂

I’ve said it on Nick’s channel and I’ll say it again here: Remote raids aren’t going away, but aside from rural areas and disabled people, there’s also areas in the world where the community is sparse. But hey, at least we’ve got Campfire right? The app that people from a scarce community can’t get into because no invite codes… This is absolute greed and lunacy. Fuck Niantic.

I’ve been playing literally since day 1, and as sad as it is, I play every day. Ive NEVER met a single PoGo player in my life! and my rural area has been created by me requesting pokestops and thats what I survive on. I know what it’s like to have no stops or gyms, I literally had that experience until 2019! yet I still played even day when at home and walking the dog.
Before remote raids, I had NEVER done a single legendary raid. My only legends were from the OG Research Breakthrough box when first released, thats I got my legends. To put in it perspective, since playing from day 1, and playing EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE (I know it’s sad), my total legendary count is 185! and my legendary raid count is 162 (silver medal). For my dedication, I believe I should be better, but remote raids are at least 95% of those legendary raids.
I LOVE remote raids and only do 3 a week, due to using my second account every day to knock myself from the gym to get my free daily coins, and I don’t mind doing that as im rewarded by getting a few legends when I can. Now with the change, I will only be able to do 1 per week!, not happy about that AT ALL!
Another thing I only thought now is that the 5 per day, although doesn’t affect me as I don’t do 5 per day, it will affect me. I mean, people on reddit groups I invite to raids when I can, and join their raids, there is now a MUCH higher chance that you’ll find less people to raid with due to others using their 5 per day up before they can join you/me. So less chance of filling read lobbies, and more chance people leaving because they may not think you’ve got enough to complete the raid.
I can understand WHY they want to change but as you said, these changes are AWEFUL and NEGATIVELY impact the entire community!
I think, maybe make the 1 pass cost 150 (maximum), bundle of 3 400. You should then be able to stack up to 6, and the breakthrough box adds a pass no matter the number of passes you already have. Then simply buff in person raids – more XP, stardust, candy, XL candy, set higher base stats… it honestly would entice me more to get out to my Gym I created for myself and invite others, and hope to get enough people.
OVERALL, rubbish change. Negatively impacts my experience and basically same for everyone else. ESPECIALLY the rural players

Their reasoning for the changes is nonsense. I would have more respect if they came right out and said this was a power flex on the playerbase to see how we would react.
