I dont spoof, but it would be tempting as the Exclisve reginals are impossible to get unless niantic gives them to us in an event.. Not all of us can afford to travel the world just to play pokemon.

To be perfectly honest I have tried spoofing. I could never get the spoofing aps to work. I have played in person at Santa Monica in California. I now live on the east coast so can’t go in person. But Santa Monica is the best place yo play.

The answer is to be more severe towards spoofer, no matter what Niantic does regarding remote raiding, spoofing is and has always has been ruining the game for everyone else, especially if used for pvp or gym control and I feel that banning permanently account that are spoofing would be a good solution and it was done in other games.
The remote raid pass nerf is not a justification for cheating, I m raiding way less than before because of the nerf, mainly because I do not have enough player around me to do the raid and I m just doing less raids.
Niantic should indeed improve their game accessibility and the overall gameplay for rural area but it is not a reason to cheat.

With the introduction of shadow raids of course they are. Meanwhile the struggle for everyone else in small communities with lack of gyms. It’s real.

I myself am not a spoofer, but for the rural community and the disabled community (which I am a part of being legally blind) I can see why they would do so. Also, there are pokemon that would be impossible for many players to get as well because they don’t live in a specific area and don’t have the funds to be able to afford to travel around to said areas just to collect certain pokemom. Many spoofers that I know are STILL spending a good bit of their hard earned money on this game even while spoofing so I personally see nothing wrong with it, especially since Niantic is still pocketing a nice profit off of both spoofers and non spoofers alike

I live in a rural area and I dont spoof. I think that you achieve nothing out of cheating. Its really something to be proud of… i knlw this guy that even downloaded this auto rocket battler and he did 0 work and the game got him how many shiny shadows in 1 day, then he procceded to brag like hes à god….. its just so out od hand with cheating anymore😥

The ones who constantly attack gyms with their multi accounts need to be thrown into a volcano. I’m sick of it where I live. I’ve reported so many spoofers but nothing gets done so I can see how people get away with it. Other than that, if people do it more out of necessity to do certain raids or community days then that is a game issue for Niantic.

Count I must say you right in that Niantic brought back spoofers with a vengeance but you are wrong in spoofers being a problem. It may seem like a problem where you are which I think is Chicago, look about how many gym can you see at one time during raid hour? How many pokestops can you see on your screen? Having been in New York where every raid fills to 20 without an invite or friend in site it might be annoying. But in rual America where you can rarely scare up enough people to beat the boss a few good spoofers are a welcomed addition to the community

Rural players that can’t get local help. Busy city players that aren’t getting responses for help on campfire or discord. Folks just want to raid when they’re available and a lot of the time it isn’t when local players are available. So there ya have it.

I admittedly have a couple of spoofing accounts.
I caught a 7 day ban and stopped… playing the game legitimately is unbearable now, they’ve put the price up on everything and added in rules that made the legit gameplay so dumb especially when you’re like me and live in a small town in the middle of nowhere.
I don’t even bother playing anymore.
