Hello again,

Excuse me, but I have some things to point to your argumentations and examples in favor of Niantic possible decision regarding remote raiding limit.

Why do you bring such examples as getting bored with remote raiding when the person who gets bored has the power to decide whether raid or not? It’s up to that person if it wants to get bored or not. The game is full of features to enjoy, unlike 6 years ago, so stop raiding if you want and explore new features. Regarding your example in doing remote raids at home alone, I have to say that that is your decision to stay at home playing alone. There are many trainers that gather to explore the multiple features in the game, including remote raiding, and it is not because of remote raids that they do not hang out together. There are plenty of factors for that to people isolate themselves.

This is limiting hardcore player mode, as you once was and that inspired me. I think this is outrageous at least and influent players like you BrandonTan91 should move forward to improve the game at more relevant levels and aspects than remote raiding. I have been passing information to Niantic almost daily but I am no one and they do not act. This situation reminds of a political ideology, but yeah.

Every single person is different, and consequently play the game differently and seek different and multiple goals. This has to be deeply taken in consideration when managing a product, even more the biggest franchise in the world, Pokémon. Why restringing the gameplay of more avid players? The game is full pay to win as we know, so that decision will enable people from winning or make “winning” much slower. That is contradictory and the opposite of what a game should offer. Let everyone decide how to play, that is all.

At the moment I am writing this message, Raids are completely down. When you click the Gym to lobby, the game crash everytime. Restarted the game about 15 times, still the same for about 1 hour now.

You see, these are the kind of issues that Niantic, as an almost 7 year company, should pay attention and really focus on, among other things, in order to upgrade the experience and gameplay of all Trainers. Multiple bugs happen and keep happening, nothing is really done about them. Rookies? I don’t think so.

I think if they want people to do more in person raids they should have incentives to do that instead of forcing people to. That takes a lot of fun out of the game. Maybe you run around remote raiding with a big group because the gyms are very spread out, it doesn’t mean people aren’t gathering to raid. Like honestly I’d rather them take away all bonuses from remote raids, no XP, stardust, items rather than Niantic dictate how I play a game I put money into.

Remote raiding has made online friendships and communities that wouldnt have otherwise existed. As for exposing the IP glitch, Im lost for words, I always thought you worked on behalf of the community but now Im not so sure. Not one of your better uploads, maybe your conscience will lead you to do the right thing with this video 😡

I cant capitalize on remote raids like I wish I could. By limiting players like this would be better for me but also a opportunity than can never occur for me because now its limited nonetheless.

I’m not playing for the community I’m playing for myself and my own goals. The game hardly focuses on the community aspect of the game and they haven’t done that for years. You can’t just go back now if they wanted this game to be about the community they shouldn’t have fucked us over from the beginning

Problem is that some people only care about themselves, a loooooot of players like myself live in places that literally NOBODY plays this game. So that means no raids anymore for us ? F* that shit, terrible decision. Niantic only sees players from San Francisco … where everything works and is beautiful

I totally understand that somethings were going to change, however, limiting the number of remote raids AND reducing the damage AND increasing the price is not “balancing the game to regain those communities and group in loco raiding”, for this only one or – stretching – two of those things could be enough. Doing all of that is deliberately spit on our faces. I can almost see already the post saying “for all the rural players that can only join a raid remotely, we are not removing, you will still be able to buy and do a limited amount of it”, patronizing us by omiting the fact of the damage, price and limit. I think there is no way to side with Niantic like this…

No offense, but sounds like a privileged YouTuber who can just go anywhere, but there are a lot of people who can’t travel or meet up. I myself spent months in the hospital so remote raids actually helped me feel part of the community. Each their own though

Don’t want / can’t dedicate their entire lives to a game and don’t plan on having to meet random people just to complete a raid

I really admire you Brandon but I have to disagree with you on this one. Not everyone are able to meet up every single day to raid especially if they have jobs and are busy at work the whole day. Sometimes people just want to comeback home from work, lying on bed and just enjoy raiding remotely. Furthermore, we paid for the remote passes. I believe at least 30% of the community would be gone if this changes are implemented.

My problem with this limit is , I live in an area where the closest pokestop is 1.5 miles away. There is no sidewalk, and it’s on a busy highway at the front of my community. Niantic makes it so hard to create pokestops. it’s too scary for kids or anyone to walk to the closest stop or gym. To get the gym, you have to cross 4 lane @ 55mph . So this being a rual area that’s not good for those that are in areas like mine

For me it’s a video game I play it to kill
some free time. I don’t want to met up with people who are just going to have their head buried in thier phone. If I want to make an actual life experience with friends and people I wouldn’t be playing Pokémon go! Pokémon or any game is a time waster! If you going to play a game play it your way I’m done with niantic game will be dead in a year if this keeps up!

At the end of the day it’s players choice if they want to raid remotely or in person. I’ve talked to quite few people about that ” change ” to remote raiding and they’ve said to me that probably they will stop playing cause they won’t be able to raid as much or at all due to work , family , health conditions etc . Not everyone can just go out and walk around all day doing raids people have lives outside this game as well and niantic seems to forget about that
