I think it’s not a bad idea what they’re doing but they should just make it between eight rate passes a day that way they shouldn’t be too upset the community me personally I don’t read everyday and it doesn’t really affect my play but I know it will affect others but as long as they’re not taking it out I guess it’s okay

Id quit playing if remote raid were to be removed entirely or made too difficult. I live in a farm community and no local friends that play, so I can’t participate in raids without remote raids.

Compromise: Daily Raid Passes can convert to Remote Raid Passes and will count towards the limit.

All these community “leaders” should understand that besides them, there are people with disabilities, people with 12 hour jobs, people with not a lot of time to play the game in general, people in areas and parts of the world where Wayfarer is non existent or corrupt. It’s the same thing with people crying about their “First World Problems”. Pokemon GO is a game, from a company that: 1) wants to make profit and 2) want people to have fun (in this priority).

Just let people play however they want to

Well if they removed remote raid pass or limit it I’ll better play other games than PoGo. I just return like last year and Remote Pass really help me to get Legendaries i don’t have the luxury to go like other places or country and i only have like 2 friends that actually play pogo. Well It’s A Good Bye PoGo.

I get niantics reasoning for this. The whole point of the game was to chase after Pokémon like the games and once they introduced remote raiding people just started to sit at home and play. I remote raid a lot but now that they limit this I see myself chasing and rushing to gyms to get raids in

Remote passes are also really useful for people who don’t have money to always play outside their houses, it’s pretty expensive where i live

Who cares about other ppl spending their real money too get a broken Pokémon they love I’m level 36 only downfall is master league and primer master league happening at once then any level lower than 40 has difficulty in pvp for the period of time!

I live a hour away from the city where all the gyms/raids are, not to mention Canada winter is horrible. I work 40 hour weeks and have other things I need to do besides getting off and immediately looking for raids around me. This isn’t about getting together in person, niantic is basically screwing the people who don’t live in huge city’s and do this for living.

I like Brandon, but the whole “I’m sad bc I don’t see people in person due to remote raids” bit is out of touch with the everyday player. He literally said he used to do around 100 remote raids per day, which means he’s done thousands and thousands of remote raids, which also means he’s more than set on good legendaries and XL candy. I get wanting to raid in person (I still do), but all of us non-full-time PoGo players can’t get out and do multiple in-person raids every day to get the XL candy to max out one, let alone multiple, legendaries like full-timers can. And telling the community to just grind more in person after he benefitted from a remote raid system for so long that is now changing (again) is just lame. Also smart by Niantic to do this right after a big in-person event where all of the big-time streamers are on a high of seeing their fans. Communities still exist due to remote raids – they’re just online communities. I still appreciate Brandon as a creator, but just disagree with his views on this. Thanks for coming to my Ted Rant. <3 you Brandon.
