Building looks like it *SUCKS* .. OR .. it is the *Operator* 🤣 ………….. NEED Cross beams.
If it were me I would have built a second layer for my bed and essential not to mention a lookout
GE there is a trader b the airfield that trades car repair kits. If you pull up the map and look at the large airfield/military base, to the left is a trader. you will go there to get the repair kits. You can also find a truck at the airfield. The trucks have more storage than the car. Be sure to take more than 1 small can of gas. They seem to be a decent trader and gives good trade for guns.
Its not complicated to build beyond you yourself making it overly so. Its basically real life physics. You need supports, crossbeam supports, roofing supports..
you said it its beam base first beams frist
You can also hit z to turn the walls and roof
Building is a pain in the butt.
If u put 9 logs in to make boards just keep hitting make until all q’s are full
Im really loving this series… I hope to see more… Im intrigued LOL Thank you for all the hard work getting us regular videos daily!!! You are awesome!!!!
I recommend taking a moment to slow down a moment and read what the parts are called as you highlighted several times a piece called beam and the description says load bearing column and it’s right next to the pillars this would have saved you from placing so many pillars and semi helped with building also you should have probably set up scaffolding and built from the outside
Hiya, I don’t comment too much, but I feel like this time should for when you are out and about. You do amazing so I love watching. New viewer. You can make a pickaxe from the very first menu you made tools at the beginning. It’s stone pick. There’s so, so much to this game. I love watching you build.
A second floor or attic would be nice!
hey …gamedged…I think you need a ridge beam for your room to attach to or sophet ceiling hope it WORKS out for ya GG
Second would usually have to be made first before placing the beams inside, usually either flat roof as a second floor if the normal floor doesn’t work, but yeah the beams may be affecting the second flooring from being placed
Its great to see you have a lot of great support in your viewers to help you with your building. this is like the first time the might GameEdged struggled in a game.
To rotate the triangular wall hold Z while using the mouse wheel. You don’t need pillars everywhere. You need one pillar for every wall, so you can space the pillars two foundations apart. To support the roof or upper floors, use beams between pillars. Beams can be up to 4 foundations apart. And build scaffoldings to get higher. You can stack them too.
I admire your patience with this, building should not be this complicated, items need to snap correctly unlike everything that others are describing here about multiple snap points. If you’re making a survival game with building components in it, make sure they make sense. Enough reason for me to not buy this game, I would have thrown it out by now 🙂
Hey GameEdge. This may help with building. Every foundation piece has for corners so when you build a wall, you need to put a post on the two corners of one foundation and two posts on the foundation next to it…even if two of the posts are right next to each other. Also, I find it useful to build out the frame first. Get all posts and cross beams in first to make sure you’re not missing any. That should also help solve your placement issues with those triangle pieces.
If you use joist beams end to end long way across your ceiling, you can eliminate all the support posts from the center of your room.
South West merchant has car repair kits, for trucks you need 2 repair kits
