Taking a break from a certain game is good so you won’t get bored. Unless you are addicted to it. Rust is fun no doubt. The all out war with pekora was insane last season. Love it

Understandable. Most of the the hololive members already simmered down in RUST. plus there is so many newer games coming out. RUST stream needs commitment and you can only go so far especially with building deteriorating fast.

I get that Rust needs to do complete server wipes so that no person will dominate for years and years and hoard everything. But can’t they only limit that to public servers? I’m sure hololive is paying rent to have their own private server.

Well, not just RUST. If you love an online game and you put a lot of effort into the gameplay, especially for streamers like Hololive, they need to make creative content inside the game to create fun interaction.

The stupid developer doesn’t care at all about all the memories you have inside the game and wipes out the server every month. I know the main reason the dev does the monthly wipe, but at least if you are an AAA game developer, you should realize if players are active almost every day, especially influencers who make super entertaining content that actually helps you promote the game.

At least you should give them more space. In this case, a longer server life time especially for streamers to have more time entertaining people.
Streamers are not just mid-gamers. They work hard to entertain people, not just randomly playing and shooting each other inside the game and then leaving and abandoning the game. Streamers are not just casual gamers; they create memories inside the game while entertaining people, and careless developers like RUST DEV just want to wipe out all of them What did you expect? The only thing that will happen is that players will get tired of it, start over every month as an active player is just so annoying. A month is too fast. RUST is an AAA game. At least give players a 3 month server life time before the reset/wipe.

Well, I think enough venting. It was a really good game. Too bad the developers were so dumb and careless toward the community.

with how time consuming rust is, it’s obvious they won’t play it for long, the game basically force you to play it almost daily, with the decaying mechanic and monthly server wipe, preventing them from taking a break from the game or all their progress would be for nothing.

Understandable. Even some season 1 veteran like Matsuri, Pekora, Suisei already played less in season 3. But it’s kinda sad tho….
