Every member made this the best version, no one can be replaced. IMO that piano player was on fire that night best accompaniment filling all the gaps beautifully not to mention opening the piece and his solo.

The silence in the end of the trumpet solo is like he just lets the highest notes float away and then starts another phrase and rips up past where we can hear

After the solos were done the drummer heard how the crowd started clapping one and three, he did a half measure with those dorky polka upbeats and SHUT THEM RITE UP, and then switched back to groove 😎😎

for the record the piece of music is a tribute to the “New Morning” the metro station which leads there is the station .. Strasbourg St Denis

I wish they would actually play the live version of this instead of the freeze frames (slideshow). This is a funky tune and the musicians deserve to be showcased. I love this song.
