The only problem with bush camping is it only works when there are no cheaters, which that almost never happens

Well sadly I play Tarkov for the questing, and chads playing it for PVP only camping objectives is why I usually give up about 3 months in. Along with the jank gameplay, an even worse state of stability than the last few updates, and even dumber changes from BSG…. I’ll just wait for the next SPT update

Why are people equating “rats” now to people who just sit in a bush 24/7? The “rat” playstyle was just players who scrounge around for loot like a bottom feeder and avoid pvp where and when possible, striking only when provoked. What people call “rat” now is far from what the rat playstyle actually is.

i rat because i’m bad at pvp, plain and simple and sitting in a bush for the entire raid with nothing happening in half of them beats being killed by some no life chad over and over, also i don’t get a dopamine rush in a head on pvp, i get a heart attack and then die both in game and irl. The only reason you don’t like ratting is because you know you can perform decently in PVP

Ratting in a bush is boring (unless its at emercom) ratting in D2 with magnum buckshot is much more fun.

inertia killed the game 100%. dude, I played 2000 hours before Inertia and couldn’t bare to play another 200 hours after the second implementation of it like come on after playing games like Insurgency, pubg, squad, bf,arma, and Cod I came to Tarkov before Inertia and Movement was already slow and hard for me. all the movement and combat changes past 3 wipes were legit tries to close the skill gap between players which is normal to exist, it takes 4 seconds if u try to throw a grenade and then switch back to your gun that’s not tactical it’s just pure pain. Games are supposed to be fun not realistic and painful, realistic games are designed to be boring.

Great analysis, what I always tell people who are new to tarkov is, what new skills are you going to learn sitting in a bush for 30 minutes? How are you going to learn to get better at PvP if most the people you kill don’t even have the time to react. Sure its fun getting big loot, but as we all know it’s even more fun making a ballsy push and clapping a bunch of rat boys who are playing like statues prone in the corners of dorms.

Ratting has desensitized me from gunshot and I don’t freeze up when I’m a map anymore questing, and that why I like ratting loll
