play literally however you want, beauty of the game.
I feel like ratting is the natural reaction to getting bullshitted by Tarkov too many times. You run along your way, and all of a sudden you are dead. You don’t know why it happened, you don’t know how you could have prevented it, you just dropped dead.
So naturally, sooner or later, people will want to be the “winner” in such an encounter. In my opinion, the best way to deal with such a thing would be to introduce a kill-cam, so at least you know where the rat was hiding.
What I love about EFT is there isn’t a single victory condition. In a Battle Royale game the only victory condition is to be the last team standing, but in EFT each player in a raid will likely have a different objective and it is quite probable that multiple players can complete their objective in a single raid. This also means there is no single “correct” way to play EFT as different objectives may be easier to accomplish via different playstyles.
i know you know this. and you’re just pretending.
but incase you aren’t.
THAT IS NOW HOW RATS PLAY.
nobody and i mean nobody just waits in a random bush all day.
what instead happened is that you are an overweight sprinting loud as f boy.
and the rat is a normal walking speed. not overweight. volume to ear bleeding levels. absolute sound wh**e
who was just normally walking to whatever place he was intending when he heard you.
and then proceeds to hide in a bush either to ambush you. or hope you walk past without noticing him.
THAT is why rats keep shooting you from bushes.
because they are scaredy cats who think you are less of a gamer then they are and shooting you is so easy that it is worth getting out of hiding for.
the other 70% of rats that you passed by, you are completely unaware of
It’s not about the money, It’s about sending a MESSAGE. Fuck th3 Chads 🙂
I play way better with crap gear and IDK why, gear fear? idk.
not every rat chooses one spot to post up, a lot of us adapt to situations around us. a good example of this was when i metal gear style took out a 4 man in interchange while sneaking around in the shadows, took one of em out, repositioned, took another out, repositioned. ratting can be a very versatile and adaptive playstyle, it doesnt have to be boring. and a counterpoint, i get a way bigger dopamine rush clearing squads one by one while they freak out and scream over voip trying to get me to give myself away, and the rush that hits when they walk by 2 meters ahead of you is insane
7:49 There isn’t another game that I have found__that can give me as huge of a dopamine rush as… (Hunt Showdown) If you are looking for tarkov levels of neuron activation in another game I strongly recommend you try hunt showdown. One does not simply try hunt showdown, the slightest taste and you are hooked consumed by the gelatinous cube of dopamine. Or you’re not and you think I’m just a commenter.
7:47 i myself play tarkov not for the rush but to simply roleplay
i am a proud extract camper, i got kappa 2 months into wipe and now i just extract camp. it is very fun
i am a professional rat.
I just can’t improve at PvP because I die before I can learn from my mistakes. It’s hard to learn how to get kills when you’re domed before you can enter a gunfight

You know what is also boring? Dying to W chads every raid.
I prefer to stack the cards in my deck in my favour by doing what I do best, being very patient.
One time I was laying in a bush with someone like 5 meters away also in a bush and I was more patient than him, he got up and I blasted him. This took 20 minutes of waiting LOL
dont like bush ? what are u ? why are u gae ?
I’d say your biggest issue with this playstyle is that you struggle to get into the proper mindset for it, really.
I’m not playing this style to have it be adrenaline pumping or engaging.
I’m doing it to ruin someones day. I know it’s not effective, not very profitable, and doesn’t really amount to much in terms of content. But I *know* that 8/10 times, I’m going to go back to the menu with a message at the bottom right and just *know* that this person is going to be so absolutely pissed off.
It’s just free entertainment.
Im level 54 and i find ratting way more enjoyable, because fair, long and high skill fights happen in tarkov extremely rarely. Its either they are dead instantly or me. The combat just feels like a coin toss, yeah you can increase your chances for sure but like its not who is smarter/faster/more tactical/knows the map down to a pixel its who abuses the game better so traditional pvp gets boring. Especially, situations like when you were rotating alongside your opponent for ten minutes and you just ended up not engaging at all because if you expose yourself for 0.3 seconds u r dead reserve pvp in a nutshell btw. On the other hand then i rat naked, kedr, gshsz, no rig and kill a duo with thermals i feel like a god its orgasmic, because obviously i should have been dead but somehow i won the unwinnable. Honestly it feels like gambling and hitting jackpot.
Best ratting is exfil camping – i can just read some books until i hear the steps
Do a video on exfill camping
