ascendant here, i dont really agree with the second tip. simply make the map fill in bigger without having it locked. having it locked forces the entire map to be shown, hence making it way smaller and harder to see and pinpoint where enemies are. source: playing my friends acc w that exact setting compared to my own enlarged map instead of locked. way too difficult to read if u wna play very competitively.

If you won the pistol round, buy the second round. If you don’t buy, you’re not utilising that pistol win advantage. Don’t worry about the third round. You probably won’t win but you’re looking to hurt their eco. Even if you lose, you’re still up 2-1.
A lot of lower elo players dont seem to understand that winning pistol=more creds and more creds=better equipment and better equipment=higher chance of winning the round. The more round advantages you have, the more breathing room you get. It’s a good habit to get into in lower elo cause once you start ranking up and start facing competent opponents, every round will matter and you don’t want to be that guy that lost his team the 2nd round because the opponents decided to force and you couldn’t win with a ghost against a spectre/stinger.

if you wanna be better at valorant play csgo, and their training maps. csgo players are far more techniqal and thousands times better. not hating but csgo has been out for a decade and people have training their aim and movement for such a long time. so warm up in cs and play valorant. trust

For number one. That’s not true it only works for primary weapons. If you want go ahead and save your Sheriff for ghost but don’t save your stingers and marshals.
