I see a lot of people complaining that they’re making China a separate region from APAC. If you add a country with 1.4 billion people and the largest E-sports scene in the world, it significantly lowers the chances of the current APAC teams in making tournaments. You could also make the argument that India has a similar population to China and therefore should also be its own region, but India doesn’t have any good teams, their best team is Global E-sports and they don’t really compete with anyone.

I understand putting masters in a European country since it is the middleground for all timezones, but it still is crazy how China gets to leapfrog every country that hasn’t had a VCT major (yet) just because they have the population. I get that it’s for monetary reasons and promoting in a major market power, but I still feel “robbed” that there hasn’t been a VCT major for any SEA country.

This will look even dumber should PRX win Champions this year lol.

it is not obvious to make a seperate international league for a particular country that will make the teams of that country more participating than other local partner teams will hampert the ecosystem it will considered to be in pacific league then br or in or kr needed their own international league (the most crowded servers doesn”t get any special league)
