ive had several rounds where ive gone basically god mode out of nowhere, and one time i got accused of cheating, and because of how stunned i was at my own luck, i simply replied, “im not cheating, but if i were in youre situation, id probably accuse me of cheating too”

Why don’t more people try to stall the game out as long as possible and each round report the cheater for cheating, it’s what I’ve done anytime I run into a blatant cheater and it’s literally saved me from losing at least 5 games of comp by now. I also ran into like 4 cheaters that I didn’t know for sure if they were cheating or not, but then made a really weird play like they knew exactly where I was for 3 rounds in a row, so I reported them for cheating, and boom the match was terminated…. in total I’ve had about 10 games terminated. It’s really not hard to get cheaters banned, just people don’t actually ever report them to get them banned lol

Dude the amount of guys that I get being cringe to girls or even girls that are duoing with their eboy/bf and are toxic for no reason (usually both of them.)

The GC scene can be a mess around verifying genders. The whole point of the league is to be inclusive of marginalized genders, but at the same time it’s a competitive league you need to have rules that prevent abusing the limitations.
There’s no requirement for legal ID to be the gender you identify with to play in GC, because it’s either not always safe or possible for people to get that. But we have also already seen multiple occasions of people lying about their gender to get into the league. It’s really tough but just goes to show exactly why we NEED leagues like game changers. Even these safer spaces to compete are being influenced by guys just wanting to make a quick buck $$$
