2 flashes …rechargable one or may be 3…wall and molly needs to be longer and lot more damage and his ult should not let his armour go if used on full health… cancellable is one option too

riot wouldnt just change the animations of phoenix skills, they are everywhere in cinematics. fun thoughts: maybe they could just do something about his current one like adding stim beacon while in his ult form or longer duration fire walls that can pass through the walls. or a simple slow when they walk through his walls or molotov. or very weird idea that they add a hp decay (like burn) status like a reverse heal just for a bit when they got hit by any of his flame even the agents are out of the aoe anymore that could be given to upcoming agents too

phoenix is a victim in the change of design philosophy to valorant. Back when the game first started they made each character have more basic kits which helped the game flow a bit faster. Each ability was pretty basic with a few exceptions. Duelists in particular had very basic kits designed for a “do it yourself mentality”. Over time the released characters changed the game to the point where teamwork is required. A jack of all trades is a master of none but always better then a master of one. This is true and in a 1v1 I struggle to find more then 4 characters better then phoenix. However valorant is a team game and 5 masters of 1 working together is evidently stronger then 5 masters of none by themselves. Everything phoenix has is outclassed by other characters. His flashes are matched or surpassed by yoru, kayo, and skye who all have unique and amazing flashes of their own. His wall has it’s own character by the name of viper. His mollys are amazing for his character but lack the range of viper and brimstone who have been rocking lineups for what feels like years. Every part of his play is outclassed. Whether it be taking duels, getting info, or entry, he’s outclassed. Design is now based around “Master of one” forcing players to coordinate for massive pushes and covering all the bases you can instead of “Wall then I flash”.

Unfortunate, I like playing phoenix but he needs more oomph to keep up in current meta.

While he may be garbage, he still serves a purpose. That purpose is to open the realms of Valorant to new players. Everyone knows that Valorant has very similar mechanics to CS. Because of this, he’s probably the best agent for newcomers to start with. His shitty flash teaches new players how to swing angles the Valorant way, his molly teaches new players that some abilities also has a lot of uses, and his wall teaches new players how to use walls and any other objects or abilities that obstruct the vision of other players to get into site. He’s dogshit, but he’s also considered as the start of a new player’s way into Valorant (might also be the reason he’s so used in Valorant’s promotional stuff).

longer wall or 2 walls

shorter flash + quieter sound + longer flash time

2 hot hands + linger on the map longer

longer ult duration + can cancel anytime

* optional * fire from his ult is invisible to enemies unless close (similar to Gatecrash)

they should make him an initiator , give him a normal molly, and allow him to move before he gets respawned back in from his ult.

It might be op, but bring the hype back and then nerf him if needs be
