Hi I play so much valorant and when I use gekkos ability with winman his tattoes glow so I am thinking that he is connected or are one of the creatures and experimented.

i was in eggwick’s stream and chat was talking abt how skye’s a zookeeper while gekko’s a cool zookeeper so i typed as joke that he isnt a zoo keeper he’s a ctually a thief who stole them from a radiant facility

A wild theory but I think the gang are lab-tested animals that Kingdom is experimenting on with Radianite which ended up gaining powers and a different appearance. The critters are probably like a start-up research with the goal of making artificial radiants to make a radiant army. And perhaps, Gekko’s radiant power is what allows him to communicate with them when clearly we dont know what they are talking about and also allow him to control them (could just be through the power of friendship tho lmao). The stolen property could probably be the creatures and that fanny pack he keeps them in. Just a wild guess lmao

I think it should also be noted that Gekko was/is friends with Neon before formally joining the VP, since in the short where he’s asking Reyna about what color he should dye his hair, Reyna asks why Gekko is asking her, and he replies with “Neon didn’t pick up”
Personally I like the idea that Gekko, Neon, and Yoru all kinda hang out together and are friends, Yoru being there from the start of round voiceline Gekko has, where he mentions living on the VP base/dorms with Yoru (to quote he says to his gang, “Of course you’ve seen Yoru before, we live with him, what are you talking about?”)
