smurfing and matchmaking are horrible in every competitive game ive played. u win 20 games in a row, and then u lose 20 games in a row. and theres nothing you can do about it aside from playing 15 ranks above the rank everyone else is in the match.

I’m gold 2 and I get a Smurf in about 2 out of the 3 comp games I play, the Smurf problem (especially in silver-low plat) is rlly bad

Smurfs are a real problem lol. They was an enemy Reyna in my game who dropped 72 kills. Thankfully we developed a stray to counter him, and we won, but that was way too close. I almost dropped to iron for the first time 😨

8:06 I went 44/20/6 in a gold lobby yesterday as a g2 peak, next highest kills were 11 or something around there. we lost 14-12 I absolutely hate this game sometimes

I have a friend who smurfed because he was losing in silver rank. he now uses his main and we are both at bronze. honestly if your bad at your rank and afraid to rank down then just go practice in unranked or accept how bad you are and go down to your actual rank. I also had a friend who was given a friend’s account that was in diamond so dont reverse smurf

even in league smurfing is a major issue and Riot haven’t really touched on it since it’s a slippery slope if they started banning people because of it. For now there’s really no definitive or applicable solution to smurfing

I played 3 games yesterday and 2 of them were games where one dude carried with over 50 kills when rest of the team had 8 when added all together… U cant make me believe it was not smurf.

I had 2 smurfs in one game,(I’m bronze 2) well technically 3 I guess. someone somehow had gone from ascendant to iron, a diamond deranked to bronze and a gold deranked to iron… how do you even do that. Their match history was sad. that was today. I honestly don’t know how we won the game

Lemme tell u the experience of a top immo/radiant smurf
If I borrow an account from a friend,no matter the rank,I will get +2/3 ranks after just 1 (sometimes 2) games.
If u get someone who u think is smurfing,they r prolly not that far of u. If I’m not lazy I will find an old ass screenshot where my smurf was plat 1 in an immortal/D3 lobby (before green rank)
If u want to combat “smurf”-try to peek him as a team,crossfire him (he will ego peek u) and op

Sorry Eggwick but your take on smurfs is bs, the point of ranked is to put you in a game with people at, slightly below and slightly above your skill level. This is the way you improve. Not whatever you are on about. Oh just use the loss to gain knowledge on how to get better faster, as if anyone is going to learn to aim better if they get one tapped in every fight. Youtubers and streamers are the worst about this because they tacitly encourage smurfing every time they create/buy a new account for some challenge.
