Lost the tiny bit of respect i had for FPX. They’ve constantly been beaten by other teams in the tournament and when they finally win they choose to show their absolute horrendous sportsmanship to the public on Twitter. They won the game fair and square the second time around but the first was due to a bug to begin with. XSET tweeted out GGs to the team and congratulated them on their win, they were forced to replay the game due to riots decision and afterwards had to deal with the FPX players tweets blaming them for it. It’s been painfully clear why no one likes the EU region in these events but atleast the region will be sent home soon enough anyways.

fyi its not rlly a bug if u look at it a different way. the turret is facing heaven and when the xset player jiggle peaks he goes in and out of the view of the turret resiting its fire to where its facing, Heaven. In wa way its the code of the turret using logic, theres no enemy to shoot so im going to return to where im facing

That isn’t a bug, the turret is working the way as it normally does, its just unfortunate the angle that it was set made and its FOV cover the slightest angle in tree that made deceiving for the xset guys. But its the game mechanics no bugs there, good thing that FPX still won. Sayf explained very well in his post, shown at 0:41

Dawg this aint a bug this is just what the turret does. The turret was facing towards heaven when the killjoy planted it. Omen peaked the turret from tree so the turret shot at him briefly, but then omen stopped peaking. since the turret fires in bursts, it wont just stop shooting once someone it out of sight. when someone is out of sight, it shoots in the direction that it was planted in. ive seen this happen multiple times and i dont think its really a bug

EEEEWWWWWW FPX had their right to be angry but being toxic about it on Twitter especially suygetsu and Zyppan? definitely lost my respect. I’ve never hated on players before but there was no sportsmanship shown there. It was Riot’s decision to replay the round, and suygetsu and Zyppan tweeting like a bunch of kids who had their candy stolen will forever be deemed unacceptable. EEEWWWW suygetsu and Zyppan..

The amount of people that think this isn’t a bug goes to show just how common of an occurrence this is.

In late 2020 (Patch 1.07), the turret was changed to ‘More effectively shoots at an enemy’s last known location’.

So the intended result is for Killjoy’s turret is to continue to shoot at the last known location of the enemy, rather than reset back to default position

acend zeek and starxo tweeted as well stating that last year, it was riot’s decision to replay their match vs vk and yet they were the ones who got hated. i believe that xset really did not made riot replay that final round because why tf would the players tweet accepting their defeat and congratulating fpx because they were the better team?? being angry and frustrated is okay imo because the situation is fucked but blaming xset themselves for the situation that they did not make + being toxic to them is just://// ardiis didnt even fist bump them the second time around and suygetsu and zyppan was just straight up toxic on twitter. props to d00mbros for being reasonable/kind/understanding, hes a nice guy.

I thought the kj turret just continues to fire in its original orientation if a player leaves the line of site. Before the player was spotted it was watching heaven.

Like this bug exists since kj’s introduction into the game

And another thing that bothers me is the fact that whenever kj is dead her turret is laying on the floor for no reason at all…i’ve lost countless 1v1 because of one bullet that went to the already dead turret instead of the enemy player because the turret was on the battlefield while the enemy kj was dead for like 45 seconds
