Honestly it’s just habit for me to ping the location of enemies at this point. I do it even when I die to help people keep track because again no one typically says anything lol. Sometimes I use voice but being female it’s not always a good idea. It has really helped with my own map awareness and let’s me contribute even when I’m not top fragging (which is usually)

Can confirm comms aren’t that impactful in lower elos. I solo queue’d 95% of my valorant games and I can say you learn a shit ton doing that without comms. Learn to read the map, play off your team or bait them, also to just depend on yourself entirely 😂. Comms only matter if your teammates listen and understand lul

i love eggwick and his content, however i do think that this experiment was flaud for one reason. when i have no comms in my game im going up against people my same rank, and not people 2-3 ranks below me as demonstrated in this video. it would be cool to see this done again but maybe like gold 3 v gold 1 or something of that sort. all love and this video was still great and fun to watch <3

I think this is definitely cap I think comms are “useful” not because they’re directly useful most of the time but because they keep everybody engaged and trying their best. I feel like most games where people are talking I win and most games when people aren’t I lose.

Im iron 2 and my last comp game i had a team that was using comms better than some diamonds but we won by 5 rounds and i think they had 3 golds

this is a unfair experiment because ofc the diamonds are going to beat gold by using raw aim and game sense. A fair test would be putting the same ranks together on team with coms and one without that would be fair since there is no advantage. But i understand this is better for content, love the vids keep it up <3
