I started playing val seriously last month and i am 2 games off dia one.Comms imo do not matter till you get high up cus you have less screaming toxic spazes on the mic(they for sure are there but way less)

Bruh everyone saying comms aren’t necessary
Ofc they are
they’re one of the most significant differences between low and high elo
its the difference between a W and an L
having coms facilitates group strats, map awareness, and every single decision you make inh a match.
You cant be looking into the map 24/7 for info and theres a ton of info that doesnt even appear in the map like hp values sounds etc.
As a Diamond/ascendant comms are crutial to win the game and they’re one of the biggest struggles of players in valorant.

In my opinion, he should have done plats instead of gold, even though gold had comms, the skill levels between diamonds and golds are too high for the diamonds to need comms, or maybe diamonds vs diamonds but a one has comms and the others don’t

My experience with comms in lower elo has been pretty good. Takes just one person to say something and then, for the most part, everyone will start communicating. I have had matches where I was the only one saying anything but, it’s few and far between from my experience.

I feel like without comms, you push yourself to focus a lot more. I have like a short attention span so I can’t hold an angle for more than 5 seconds. If no one says anything, I’m more likely to focus.

I use comms especially when we’re losing if we can geta a certain amount of people on 1 site, if we know the main site we put 3 on main site and 2 on other site at different angles, this helps 10x more in maps like bind or haven where sites have around 2 entrances

I reached plat 1 with no voice. You can get the rank you want with just a bit of aim training and game sense.

I love how people complain about having no comms in low ELO but there the ones that don’t wanna talk i feel like if you start talking in low ELO lobbies so will other people.

Honestly, I am bronze three and most of my games around 70% of them there are people using COM‘s. One thing that really sucks is that there’s a lot of toxic people and will tell you to shut up if you start talking.

Honestly, plat lobbies are the new iron, no one comms, everyone is brain dead, everyone just stat pads meaningless kills, no one pushes site. sick of it
