as a former silver 2 player, when i turned my sounds off (I stayed for a month in a shared hotel room without headset) i would actually pop off, as you cant hear you check every corner and peek more aware, your senses become sharper

You should’ve experimented this with two teams of the same rank, so the results would have actually somewhat proven if sound is important, and not just have a challenge where a higher rank team has a handicap.

With this big of a skill gap, the handicap barely matters. Even if aim is more important in lower ranks, the diamonds would still have better aim in most cases, right? Do platinum vs diamond if anything

What you should do next time is not tell the team WITH audio that the other team doesn’t have audio, that way they don’t do exploits and tricks. The golds could just run on flank, or smoke off the bomb to get the diamonds to rush cos they don’t know if they’re defusing, etc.

My friend doesnt have audio in his pc and he plays really poorly. But at the same time he was always a console gamer and I dragged him into FPS games like a month ago
