Wish I were able to do all these drills…
Unfortunately for me, I have poor ping (~100ms on the best server available to me, 150+ on others. The servers with 150+ ping also have unplayable packet loss) and intermitten packet loss. Usually doesn’t affect me much in actual games, but I’ve noticed that the packet loss I get is objectively worse in the range for me.
In games, I really only get packet loss issues once or twice per half. However, in the range, when doing the medium bot training speed, I get packet loss stutters causing me to not even see between 1-3 bots except for the blue hologram as they fade out.
Sometimes I even need to shoot the start button multiple times.
It also affects my ability to do other drills, but it’s not so bad for those since I’m not trying to reach a “score” per se. It’s either I’m reliably doing it, or I’m not.
Hopefully once I move back to the US this summer, I won’t have to deal with crappy internet anymore.
I’ve been binging all your videos for around a week now, really interesting and educational. Unfortunately I don’t really have time to play (vod watching is during work hours when I get time), but hopefully at least some of that sticks. Right now, changing up how I aim seems to lower my performance, but hopefully as I get more comfortable with it, I will start doing better in my games.
I will rise to this challenge, I’ll see you in a vod review soon woohoojin!
are we really throwing away the old practice routine? 😢 do you think doing the other drills for ranking up is still valuable?
i tried to do the old rank up routine but because of my schedule these days, i couldn’t be consistent. things are starting to simmer down so i’m looking forward to using this new routine! thanks professor banana!
The thought processes you give in your videos are so damn useful I’m so glad I found your vids
sadly for the life of me I am too slow to complete the medium bot drill so it might be just time to quit you’ve been a great coach and sometimes a great coach has to say when you can’t make the team thanks for trying
i need that crosshair bananaman
Thank god I can stop instalocking and playing reyna now
I cant do all this and got to gold haha.i feel like this is the video i need to get to plat instead
I like that u let the dog barking in the audio…
RAW
With this title I was sure this was going to be the march MLG montage.
I found your content through the original video and I followed the routine. I had been stuck bronze for multiple acts and this act I made it to gold! I will say I didn’t stick as strictly to the routine and I had to do additional research to get there, but it provided a huge breakthrough for me. Including deadzoning in this guide is super important imo as deadzoning and learning to use cover were really the big things that got me to gold.
I strayed from Reyna here and there and I felt like it made me backslide on my gunfights. In the moment it’s hard not to fall back on bad habits or use your utility to help you get kills. I think the perfect “Get to gold” guide is somewhere in the middle of both videos. Your aim routine, force picking Reyna to reinforce the aim routine, and then playing for the long term rather than short term. I had a lot of bad days but they were started to fade the more I practiced. I really was shocked by just how much my gunfights were holding me back. I was that bronze player with dozens of one ways and line ups on viper/omen but couldn’t manage to win any duel that wasn’t overwhelmingly in my favor.
Thank you for your continued efforts to help everyone improve. I’m one of the many that has greatly benefited from your content and I hope you keep doing it!
Commenting on this video to help the algorithm
Edit: Woohoojin you deserve it
How to escape diamond-immo
is it still possible to do this only during weekends because that is the only time I am allowed to play and if not any way I can convince my parents to let me play on weekdays
My wife is working her way up to gold and I think this would really benefit her. Thanks for the updated guide!
Genuinely thank you. As a newer player, this is great for me, not only for Valorant, but my aim in general.
One small question, what is the difference between overaiming and deadzoning? What is deadzoning?
I haven’t watched the original video, but ever since I watched your vids, I’m not stuck at bronze 2/3 forever anymore and I’m moving up to silver! I’ll do my best to follow this guide.

“no runing from enemy Reyna” that’s sounds too familiar kekW
