Breeze is pretty bad but I think fracture is worse
I like the idea of pushing flanks for the defenders but while there may be numerous routes they all eventually lead to 1 or 2 points. So someone flanking a from b has 2 options, mid doors or t spawn but if attackers have tube control then a chamber trip more than covers the flank.
Pls make a video how to play breeze.i hardstuck because of don’t know how to play icebox and breeze.
I agree, there is too much sightlines to cover in addition to the long travel time which makes a pincer execution quite hard because if an enemy spots you near a site then the jig is already up. So teams usually just 5man burst into sites through main because its easier and less risky. Unlike other maps where you can split the team, sneak near mid then pinch the enemies when everyone is in position.
To me, it mostly is how many things you have to clear, especially on A site, just remove one of the triangular pillars, easy.
Riot just hire this man already
i dont understand why people hate on it, I love it. maybe because I always win when I play breeze LOL
Do you have any thoughts on how to improve the chute from halls to mid? Right now it’s loud and exposed you to mid too easily but seems like a fun mechanic, maybe it could drop you into the A-side inside of the midside
I haven’t watched the whole video yet, but I really like breeze mainly because it teaches you to have good crosshair placement with a lot of elevated angles and strafing a lot more since a lot of fights are long-range. Breeze is my highest winrate map and has taught me a lot of the game. I’m also a jett main so I might be biased about it.
i hate this map. i can admit i am not anywhere skilled enough to play well on breeze. i seem to always get this map for my rank up or derank game(and just q into this map a lot in general) and it makes me so sad. statistically it is my 2nd worst map with a 34.8% wr. wish riot would let us choose which maps we want to q for competitively so i can practice breeze in unrated and am not forced to struggle through it in ranked. i tend to just take the dodge penalty now but when you q into it 2, 3 times in a row i kinda feel backed into a corner where i have to play it – where’s the fun in that? breeze is just a throw away of 20+ rr :c
This is my favorite map, but I agree they need to remove some 50-50 and add some more places to hide/take cover. But not just in this map in all maps. The “abilities are used to clear angles that’s why there are so many obstacles” to justify the amount of cluster in Valorant’s maps seems just a annoying excuse for me
Breeze’s only problem is Mid. We all know that. It is way too wide and open. Rotations on Breeze are technically not as slow as we perceive them. We think they are too slow because we almost never rotate through Mid and are forced to fully go through Spawn area.
Extending the elbow wall, great idea! And idk about you guys but I feel like it would be great if there was another wall that only certain agents can get on top of on the left side of Pillar (where boxes are) and not a roundabout that there is now.
Also being able to see Spawn from Mid looks dumb af to me. You can never rotate safely, NEVER because when rotating, you expose yourself twice to the mid player – if there’s an OP, gg wp.
Ima go off topic. Worst map is fucking fracture. Firstly the map is made for pros and only pros but even for them the map is too small and tight. Even watching other play that map hurts the brain. It’s just too much. Its got way too much spamable scenarios.
It’s like a csgo cite but the spread across the whole map
They really took one of the best maps out for this shit. 🙁
