Terrible advice.
While many overshoot with their aim, people have different styles and habits of using a mouse. For some 300 eDPI might work, for many it means they can’t turn around comfortably.

The better advice is: find the maximal motion you can do with your mouse comfortably. Set that to be 360° of rotation in-game. Now try to hold a spot on a wall while moving in a half circle around it. Adjust your sense with first big changes to then going down further and further into smaller numbers until you don’t see change and have in your opinion the best accuracy on the spot on the wall.
Now get used to it.

I hate it when players say “do what pros do on average”. It just shows that they have no clue and no experience.

Having a sensitivity you are comfortable with is much more important than having a pro’s sens, I am immortal 3 and have used 4800 dpi and 0.25 ingame sensitivity (1200 edpi) ever since I started playing.

I’m immo 3 with a sense of 0.42 on 800 dpi and lemme just say that as long as you can flick fast and aim at long range with your sense it’s fine. That’s an average sense for a reason, there’s pros with high sense and low senses

I’ve been holding my sens (0.24 w 800 dpi) for 2 years. But i kinda feel like i can’t consistent with my aim. Sometimes I can reach high hs rate but in other match i can’t even find a head. I’m afraid changing my sens would take a long time to mastered it

my rule is 1 big swipe can do 360. that’s the base sens. and then just decrease it depending on the game. apex and cod may be enough. siege and pubg is lower. cs/val is much lower.
