Respectfully, no. Even in plat from all my experience it’s much more valuable to pick an agent you’re comfortable with rather that what would compliment your teammate.

Sure you might make a great coordinated play 3-4 times, but how much more will you be self dependent on util? What I’ve found in trying to learn new agents is when I have to think less about how I should play, I do much better.

Now, if you’re equally skilled with sova and fade, sure, use fade if your team has a raze..but only if you feel good with them

bub while this sounds great, it never happens bc no one listens or communicates. in fact if you’re being positive and making a plan there’s a great chance someone will do the opposite out of spite

Problem is you might throw the game, since teammates didn’t follow the plan and you just enter site alone and die while your teammates dies from the flank you didn’t cover for them. Happens a lot sadly. So what I do is usually just watch my teammates weaknesses and try play of them sadly. If they don’t check their back, be there and get the kills. If they sit back and make noise upfront while also aware of their own backs, try go around the map and kill what they are trying engaging with from their sit back distance. With those picks usually non comm teammates get their confident enough high to be brave and enter site. Then you do it with them and with increased numbers hopefully you have the gunfights even with the bad non planned utilities from eachother.

The problem is valorant is a social game and a lot of gamers are very anti social plus i always get actual 12 year olds in silver that just do what they want and troll so it’s almost impossible to get out since all good players are either smurfs or in higher ranks and you can only do so much alone.
