100% Iso has more team utility than Reyna and even though the ult is a 1v1, your allied team can just kill the taken person when he respawns. Or delay spike plant/defuse!

Iso is one of the least solo oriented duelists imo. His wall and vulnerable can be used purely to help your team and if you use the ult correctly you can pull the sentinel or a problematic enemy from a site hugely opening it up for your team. Obviously he is still a duelist so he is someone solo oriented but he is much more team oriented than jett, Reyna, or raze, yoru can use his flash or ult for the team, phoenix can his his flash or wall for the team but usually just the flash, neon is reasonable with her wall and stun but her run makes her outpace the team.

BTW a teamwork strategy I’ve been loving is on defense to have your teammate hold an angle and as soon as the enemy peaks it you’re positioned in a way that you can throw the vulnerable and make it and ez frag possibly multiple if it’s somewhere like cave on breeze or a lobby on haven.

I feel like Iso isn’t going to be that good in the long run. Aim demons are still gonna play Reyna because she snowballs harder from kills. Team players are going to either play a dive duelist to take space more effectively, or they’re going to play any of the other classes.

Like, if u play a 1 dualist team, reyna entry is suck, iso entry is better, but still not good and fast as jett, raze or even a good neon, so in a 1 dualist team, iso> reyna but he’s not a good option tho
On the other hand, when it’s a 2 dualists team, iso can support the main entry dualist kinda good with C and Q (semi initiator) (but actually u already have an initiator so that’s unnecessary) so the second dualist is not gonna the one who tank site, but actually the one who can trade for the main dualist fast and tank if the main down, with this i think reyna > iso. Like when the main dualist gets in, the second dualist gonna trade as fast as it could and continue the tank, and i dont think iso C and Q is suitable for fast trade and tank, and his E …. imagine u and ur main dualist already in but ur team hasnt come, the dualist down but doesnt get anyone and u have to get 2, well if ur hand big enough to flick 2 heads, well u dont need to care, but if u dont, well iso E needs to flick 1 more time and tap to the thing to activate the shield, but shield just can stop 1 BULLET (a vandal headshot is 160 and the first 3 bullets have high accuracy) meanwhile reyna E can activate immediately when u got kill, and they cant shoot u for a while, give u enough time 4 team to cover u with utilities. And when the situation is clutch 1 vs 2 or 3, no iso wanna use his ult to JUST GET ONE IN and others can defuse, but with reyna’s ult, shoot faster, infinite q and e is quite better

Shit take 1 bullet kills iso shield Reyna could get back up to 150. Reyna so broken pistol round as well if she’s over healed she could get dinked by a ghost and still survive

I think Iso is more like Phoenix than Reyna. Phoenix is an egoistic and selfish agent too but it still can provide at least some value for the team with his wall and flashes much like Iso with the wall and the weakening thing if used supportively

Well my man just compared reynas heal with isos shield for some reason but a better comparison would be reynas dismiss to isos shield (in my opinion reynas dismiss is better overall as it blocked all damage not just one tick which allows her to play more risky and makes her better with the op too (reynas better at lower elos overall))

Personally think Iso is the worst duelist in the game rn. Double tap isnt as good as dismiss/heal. It requires shooting an orb to activate, so if youre fighting multiple enemies youre dying (unlike reyna who can dismiss). Additionally, a shield blocking 1 instance of damage can be good, but for most of the playerbase youd prefer heal because people hit bodies more often than heads and so blocking 40 aint as good as healing to full again. The wall is mediocre at best, because it cant stop and you only get 1 charge. It is basically a big signal to enemies youre going to go in so they can use their utility. The vulnerable is also just average. But most importantly, is Iso’s kit relies around being skilled, but he doesnt really have much to tip the initial fight in his favour. Reyna flash allows her to take far more favourable fights and get her signature up and running. His best ability is his ult, for obvious reasons, but its still not that strong.
