a man harrasing a lady < lady harrasing a lady
Why’s is the ick when a guy does it
zesty ahh josh.
So why is it not weird when she does it?
oh so when a girl does it, its fine but when a boy does it “its weird” or “creepy” double standard is crazy
the fact that it got from weird to wholesome just because jett was a girl puts me thinking..
Jett has evangelion reference
Natt?
I can agree with that statement you made at the end
I always get the nicest people in breeze
I too love being sexist and hating men for literarily anything. Oh and people wonder why men have become so insecure about expression
Yes Breeze brings the worst out of people. Whoever created that map should be in jail. 🤣
so men cant do that but female can? 😱😱😱😱😱
“double standards this, double standards that” I’ll never be ashamed to admit that I feel more comfortable and safe with women than men. If a man goes “OMG WOMAN???” in chat I’ll feel disgusted and I’ll wish I never opened my mic.
But if a girl does it then I’ll feel butterflies in my stomach that’s just how it is. I feel safer with the girlies
And the reason is actually very simple. I have never been harrased to the point of tears by women
help why are some people feeling oppressed in the comments lmao
let the girlies feel comfortable and have fun tgt
it’s just so funny to see that they don’t understand this experience and keeps pushing “double standards” when it’s really not.
it’s just fair expectations that’s been predominantly established in an fps game (and in most games anyway). the girls were just hyped to see each other. that’s it!
Valorant got the softest mfs in history
That’s fucked up.
Dude like why, I have a question if it was a girl it’s fine but if it’s a boy it’s not fine? Dude.
Whats more cringe a guy being surprised theres a girl or the guy saying its cringe that others are trying to talk
This comment section is NOT it, first of all if you feel upset by these women feeling safe around eachother, vs being uncomfortable around men when speaking, then that says alot and you are part of the problem. Why do these women feel unsafe in the first place, why does half of the population have to feel so uncomforable communicating in a game? You see statistically women are a majority of victims of certain types of abuses if not most types. Domestic abuse women are 33% vs men 25% 1 in 7 women have been injured by a romantic partner, vs 1 in 25 men. In r*pe cases 90% of victims are female, if you were to put 10 victims in a room 9 of them would be women, this should say alot. 1 in 5 women will be r*ped in their lifetime, 1 in 71 men will be. It’s disproportional and disgusting. “Ok but this is just on a game” 61% of women say that harassment is a big issue while 48% of men agree. 33% of young women online are sexually harassed, 11% of young men are. Why is it 3x more likely? Just like how it’s more likely for women to be victim to other crimes, it translates over undeniably from real life to online, especially when there an anonymity factor. Encompassing all media types and forms of sexual harassment, 97% of women have been victims of sexual harassment, whether online, in a metro, in a supermarket or school. 97. The internet is driving women out of it and causing them to withdrawl, I mean 77% of women gamers experience gender-specific discrimination to the point where women will mask themselves and not talk or comm, as well as self-censor and avoid interaction. Exihibit A being how the viper and skye revealed how they were uncomforable when the jett was still anonymous and it hadn’t been revealed she was playing around and was a woman, this is just a popular theme for women online and in fps games such as valorant to be harassed and yelled at as well as called vulgar names or bombarded with questions relating to dating. We know why women dont feel safe around men in public places, online, or even around family, so why do they feel suddenly safer around other women, is it due to double standards, no. It’s actually similarity hypothesis, which means we tend to be drawn towards those who are similar to ourselves, these similarites can be shared attitudes or values, as well as opinion or cultural background. We like those who are likeminded. Since a majority percentage of women are victims to online sexual harassment, they themselves understand how bad it feels, and how it is to be on the recieving end of the exchange, so they aren’t gonna try to make others feel that way knowing first hand how it is. This envelops the environment to become a sort of safe space since typically there’s a level of respect and affitity of understanding and mutual values. A girl is going to be a lot more talkative and at ease with other women knowing she’s less likely to be harassed or talked to in a harmful way. So it only makes sense they will feel relived and happy and open up. It would be a double standard if there was no reason for them to feel uncomforable and they just didn’t like men while it was the opposite for women, but there is a reason, plenty. It’s not like the women in the video voiced a genuine disgust or malicious feeling for men, no nobody was put down, they just became a lot happier when they realized the jett was in fact not meaning harm and was not a random man hitting on a girl for speaking in valorant. There is no need for the men watching this video to feel victimized or like there is a double standard, stop being rediculous and just look at the facts, there’s reason for women to have a protective stance against men online, and no group of people was attacked, stop fishing for attention you are not the victims women are allowed to feel a sense of security around those like them, stop being problematic.
