After this reset at the end of the last episode i set a goal to finally start playing comp and hit p3 after placement i was already p3 50 rr and now im A1 and havent played for like 2 weeks cause of vacation but my point is it really shifted me upwards and now im mvping against some immo 1000 from last act

Before Ascendant, I was trying hard to get to Diamond, it took me 2 ACTs to get to Diamond from Plat but after introducing Ascendant without much trying I am almost Diamond 3.
Also some of my friends who never reached Plat and now Plat 3/Diam 1

The ascendant rank brought me back to valorant. I was stuck in immortal 1 for quite a long time because matchmaking wasn’t fun at all(kids with huge egos, rage quits, toxicity in general), I had people throwing games because someone locked their jett or just because they wintraded. Now I reached immortal 3 easily(within 60 games i think) because people actually know how to play and they care somehow. It’s funny to look at all the familiar nicknames from previous seasons being hardstuck ascendant and blaming the game hahaha

I ended Plat 1 last act and got pushed down all the way to Gold 1. My matches felt pretty easy and were still acceptable when I re-reached Plat 1. Currently I’m mid plat 2 and still feel like it’s easier playing against plats than it was before the changes

I was plat 2 65 rr yesterday and i kept getting placed with immortals and ascendants and just deranked to plat 1 20rr

i ended last episode in immo1 and now im immo 1 but it feels easier with worse enemies. i even peaked immo 2 162rr

I was plat 1 when the ascendant rank was added and I found most my matches to be easier, I had a diamond lobby and it felt like plat top fraging in it. I am plat 2 cuz I just haven’t really played a lot

i was hardstuck silver 3 since yoru came out and i ended barely silver 1 last act. this act i hit gold then plat and almost plat 2 but im on vacation rn so no more grinding lol

I like the new rank, but in my ascendant games i don’t understand how im getting plats that just play so differently and to be fair “stupid”. They do the most random things ever sometimes, other than that i feel the new rank was pretty good

I think I missed the chance to rank up as a d3 last act and because I didn’t play until now, I’m stuck starting in d1 with people who used to be gold/plat and are just SO much more toxic and inconsistent than it used to be. I also just don’t play enough anyways and Ill continue just having fun when I do so it’s fine. The game is much more enjoyable if you play for fun rather than for rank.
