Me who was gold before and got deranked to silver 2 on the reset lol. I’m back up to gold now but it took way to long and was really annoying.

Not gonna lie, the new rank change gave all the shit golds the chance to move up to plat and it really wasn’t a great thing. You’d either get a toxic teammate or just downright bad teammate. Worst case scenario is both and it has been making me get bad games overall. Even with a 2 or 3 stack we can’t win because they just decide to play for themselves and give the enemies the picks. People might start saying shit like I could be playing bad / I’m a shit player or even I don’t deserve to be in plat but I have grinded myself to plat be it with or without my team and even got to diamond with a disrespectful top fragger by playing an initiator role only to hear him say that we don’t trade when we just can’t. It’s not a good time for the higher elo because now with plat or diamond being the bell curve, it’s gonna be harder to even touch ascendant. Well that’s just me, not sure how everyone else gets their games. Also I’m not saying there’s only bad golds, there are good gold players as well but they just either haven’t gone to plat or are at lower plat/ high gold ranking.

This rank addition is no fun for someone like me. My hidden elo puts me against immortals constantly but I’m D3. Every act prior I was 60% or above win rate. This act I cannot stand because of the boosted diamonds and ascendants that simply grind all day to rank up but aren’t actually that good. They get on my team and suck. I now have a 38% win rate and because I don’t play comp for my whole life I’m D3 in asc3-imm 1 lobbies. It’s 0 fun to rank up now when you actually have a life!

i was a silver 2 player and now im silver 2, the ranked changes have done absolutly nothing for me and I still get throwers and smurfs almost every other game.

Last season g3 finished, but the highest rank I hit last season is p3. But this season, in just 12 days, I hit g3 to ascendant 2. So actually, I can rank up, but I drop Valorant.

D2 is kind of a weird place to be. If you are below 50rr you play with Plats and if you’re above 50rr you play with Ascend.

I noticed as you rankup toxicity level goes up too. let me explain iron and bronze they don’t talk silver only toxic players talk that too few mostly in silver there are typing toxic players 🤣 and gold is where you start to play coordinated and most of the players talk and most of them are toxic in plat you will find both toxic+motivating players and diamond is where toxic players are less and motivating players are more and after diamond i don’t know because that’s my peak
