As a Cypher Main ppl have so many ideas of buffs but Cypher is still good on ranked just minor buffs and one major buff well fix him.
1. Cages should slow or reveal any enemies or that walk through it. I heard this was in the beta in which should not been taken away.
2. Trips should have more damage as well cost less like 150 instead of 200 and not be destroyed by Teammates Please to Sova mains!!!!
3. Add a 3rd cage you just don’t understand how much benefit to a Cypher by having a 3 cages.
4. Make his camera harder to destroy like KJ turret.
5. Alot of ppl downplay his ultimate yet his ultimate comes OP when pushing a site or retaking a site. His ultimate should be used on any dead body no timing restrictions at any moment.
6. Last just something extra a secondary cam this will him make op for lurkering and the better sentinel for watching flank at the same time for his teammates. But I think this would probably make him broken. If you know you know!!!
MY OPINION IF YOU WANT TO READ IT ,
Kayo is perfect I just think his knife should have less cooldown because that’s his main thing and his Molly should just be a grenade that looks like a knife to confuse enemies . Chamber needs whole rework. Ult should have two bullets that refreshes with kills. Add two traps that slow but blows up n does 30dmg (but u have to really suck to take the dmgcause it takes a whileee). His headhunter should be like a explosive shell shooter that does less damage than current but the shell detonates and does the rest,it would explode n even hit near team mates for maybe 20dmg.but you can shoot the ground or wall and it explode n damage anyone close to that small area. Cypher: extra camera+ wire and cheaper prices. Also let him explode a camera to give him a raze jump!!! That will help with mobility and give him a dilemma of how to use the camera. Also I have an idea for a new character. A util that makes him shrug off blinds slows etc and can shoot a force field that doesn’t block any damage but shows through smoke. + a util that also shoots a small force field but can block damage and the enemy can’t tell the difference. Hit ultimate would be like a fooos ro dah for all projectiles and smokes,raze rocket and mollys and bullets and the enemies jump back a bit n get knife auto equip , so they have to press 1 to get the guns out again.
I think the only way to really nerf chamber is buff the rest of the sentinels
pheonix buff, phoenix can cancel his ult and his duration of the ult stays and he can ult back again in the same round. his flashes can be thrown deep inside site like kayo
What about breach? I think he’s becoming a very important agent in the pro scene considering that a lot of new pro players are now starting to know how to actually use his abilities.
For cypher buffs the camera kill cool down needs to be reduced
2.when people run through the tripwire it should be instantaneous and be silent and scan their body for 3secs and tbf the daze effect should be removed.how would u see this is that u put cyber cage their walk through tripwire and u see them and kill them.They wouldn’t be able to see u while u see them.this would make cypher be feared.also change cypher ult scan like to a sofa dart scan instead of some yellow scan
My ideal cypher rework is: revert his trip to work post death, and when he dies he just switches to his camera
phoenix might need a all rework imo. when I first started the game I instantly liked phoenix because he seemed very balanced in terms of his kit’s possibilities. however, I don’t think the wall really does anything. if you need a wall to entry site, you’d have a viper on the team. maybe they just completely switch out his wall for something else. or they give him a passive that he is immune to fire. this would be very strong but kayo mollies would still work, spicing up the meta a little

A nice buff for cypher should be to increase health on his camera, it has like 1hp and can even be destroyed from far away with a single shorty shell, his cam is good for info, but so easy to destroy, they should increase the cameras hp to 150 because you will always have it somewhere visible, unlike chamber tps which even if not visible to enemies because they are behind a wall they’re still useable, cypher trap wires are easy to counter, a single fade prowler can trigger 2 wires, all his breakeable abilities have like 1 hp, another good buff would be to make his cages slow enemies again, because in game enemies don’t really care if a cyber cage is active, they just walk through or flash out since all it really does is make an audio cue when they go through, adding a slow effect back to his cages would punish enemies more for ignoring the ability, his wires should detonate faster /stun enemies faster after they trigger his trip and maybe increase the length of the wire, make his camera dart more punishing for enemies who just run around the map considering it pings enemies a little bit slow, so enemies should be tagged like a sova dart, but enemies should still be revealed until they remove the dart, and his ultimate should last longer, reveal enemies like a fade/ sova recon ability where you see exactly where enemies are going, what they’re doing, and increase the time you have to use his ult after getting a kill or remove the timer. And camera cooldown when destroyed should be decreased to like 25 seconds.

make chambers headhunter pullout a little slower. not as slow as the sheriff but certainly not as fast as currently. maybe give his trip back and make his bullets 100 each. but keep his other nerfs.

Most of the people can’t properly use yoru. He is good agent in proplay and in ranked games. ESPECIALLY on breeze, bind and fracture. He can do instant rotations, cause a lot of chaos in comms (imagine opping yoru on breeze) „Yoru opping nest – no yoru is on b – No! He is opping double doors now”
Or on bind – „1 can be in tp”
On fracture, he can do instant flanks, and attack from both sides alone.
Im not even saing about his Op flashes, that sometimes u can’t even see
honestly for my ideas they’re probably be a bad idea but why not make it so that after the round Cypher and Kj can recall their items and use it to the next one if they can get on it on time ofc.
It’s pretty obvious why they change it on the next update because of how really overpowered it is eco wise but with all of these new situation I don’t think it’s that bad especially if you consider the fact that chamber’s gun keeps it but then again I’m comparing a 8 bullets Sheriff on a trap/info ability of Both KJ and Cypher (as well as their respective Molly [KJ] and Smoke [Cypher]).
As for KJ why not buff the range or make it work like the first release one with no range but yeah it’s pretty obvious why it won’t be like that anymore although maybe only the alarm bot would make sense…
other than that tho why not make cypher’s camera more flexible or no need line of sight (as said by one person on the comments) similar to KJ and Chamber with his tp.
but yeah that’s just my idea it’s dumb af but I tried.
