When you say “surely” sentinels, optic and 100T are going to make it because V1 did, I feel like you’re concentrating too much on their competitive performance. The top teams in the scene have been shuffling all the time for the past 2 years, and every other day there’s an underdog roster that’s made a break through, no point RIOT putting too much importance on that. The elephant in the room for sentinels is viewership (always good for sponsorship), e.g. in masters 3 last year, 3 out of the 5 highest peak view matches had SEN even though they didn’t make it that close to grand final. But then again, this might just be temporary, due to their performance this year they haven’t had the opportunity to attract high viewership. I can see a world were SEN don’t make franchising. If people don’t like the outcome, just stop watching the VCT events, that’s the only possible way to affect decisions.

Bruh how isnt optic being talked about here they have been competetive since last year that is the envy roster they were 2nd in circuit points in NA last year went to grand finals and then won a masters this years not to mention optic is one of the biggest gaming orgs out there.

If sen doesn’t get partnered it makes no sense. TSM has had no success while sen was the best team in NA for a few months and no one was close. Also tenz alone brings more viewers than all other teams except for maybe optic and fnatic

Idk why a promotion/relegation system isn’t being implemented. Helps a lot keeping the T2 competitive and allowing them to be ambitious.

Honestly if 100T don’t get franchised, I’d be highly disappointed. However, I do think it’s unlikely that 100T doesn’t get franchised, so I’m hopeful the announcement will come.
