All the iron brains giving coaching lessons to PRX about their agression have to understand that’s something calculated and coordinated. Just stfu. Hindsight is 20/20.
IT WORKED AGAINST FNATIC AND OPTIC!! TWO OF THE BEST TEAMS IN THE WORLD, even when they knew PRX play like that.
Only reason it didn’t work against FPX is that they’re just that insanely good at CS-style play. There’s a reason world’s 3 best teams: optic, fnatic, and PRX looked “lost” against FPX. That is, that they know how to make their enemies play according to their own rules, which destabilizes the strategies of their opponents.

i never really followed fpx up until the copenhagen quals. they’re INSANE. having suygetsu there at the event definitely gave them that edge that they needed to win.

Coach Alecks has a lot to teach his team before champions. PRX does not know how to play defense. This weakness was exploited by FPX very much during the finals. You can see on some of the rounds where FPX was on attacking and they were turtling down on the first 30 seconds, sometimes just on spawn, waiting for PRX aggression to come to them and counter it. You can see this in Icebox and Fracture. Also, it is so apparent that most FPX players have better aim compared to PRX players. Especially Suygetsu and Shao. Their aims are so clean. I don’t know if it was just nerves from the PRX site but there was a noticeable aim diff in that match. But overall, this is better for PRX that they have met a team that can counter their playstyle effectively coming to champions, however, this would be the biggest challenge for them because everyone saw how they were countered well and if PRX doesn’t change/evolved, I’m afraid they will be exploited the same way now that everyone will consider them a contender and will not just undermine them since they come from APAC where people used to consider the weakest region. In a way, PRX benefited from this view from other regions in the past and during this Masters.
