Me: Proud and happy buying new and expensive Phantom Champions skin bundle
Coach Mills: THE END OF PHANTOM META
btw: phantom should always 150 hs, it’s ok to lower body and leg damage, but inequality is found on hs’s, and riot should reward that skill no matter the gun (in regards to vandal or phantom)
the vandals spray pattern needs to be nerfed. You shouldnt be able to spray with accuracy really at long range with the vandal, this is the biggest issue. The buff they gave it about 6 months ago, killed off anything with the phantom. Changing the spray pattern, would still reward people with aim, but wouldnt give them the ability similar to the phantom. I also think that the 20yard range drop off on the phantom should be buffed to 30 yard to match footsteps etc.
I used to be a Phantom main only, as it applies to previous majority of maps being close range, and I’m a controller main. However, I’ve swapped to the Vandal more in 2022 since Split is removed and there’s now 3 maps meant for long range, and unfortunately Vandals are most people’s best chance against a Chamber main. It’s either you 1-tap, or you and your teammate die, and your third doesn’t trade since he teleports away.
(It’s also unfortunate to admit that my KDA has gone up substantially since I’ve made the change.)
How will I play valo anymore? 😅😂
Spectre and Phantom are best because they have low recoil
vandal recoil is ohoo
I’ve been using the phantom since the champion skin came out, trying to learn it as best I can. I personally think it’s inferior in every way other then it not having tracers. It can’t 1 tap past 15m, which is the biggest downside, it’s spray is imo harder to control due to faster firerate which doesn’t make sense but it always seems to wildly spray. In CS:GO I always used the M4A1-S over the M4 and even over the AK if I could because it was just so much more accurate that it made up for the inability to 1 hit. I’d love a real reason to use both personally, but even when I do buy a phantom to whatever reason I typically regret it.
i like phantom since so I use phantom
I used to be a heavy phantom user for a very long time, until the start of episode 5. In my case the point about reaching a certain skill ceiling was true, my aim and crosshair placement has improved after playing for so long that I started noticing I was losing potential kills/trades whenever I used the Phantom too frequently. The 1 tap headshot kill the vandal provides is just too good to pass up when ur aim is at a certain level in my opinion. I do believe the Phantom needs to be buffed at the medium and long range to balance things out because 120 at long range and 140 medium range is so incredibly infuriating. 156 at short and medium range and 140 at long range is I think a perfect sweet spot for the Phantom. Vandal should also get a buff to have the same 30 bullets in a magazine and same 1st shot bullet accuracy value as Phantom.
As long as phantom doesnt have 1 bullet headshot at any range pro scene Will always prefer vandal. Its just like in csgo the ak is always the superiour weapon because the aim at that level requiers to kill as fast as possible
Why Vandal needs to be nerfed honestly. Vandal is literally broken asf especially when with one tapping which is so retarded. Phantom does different damage from different ranges which is nice but Vandal doesn’t like what tf??? Balance does not exist in Valorant 😹😹💀. Why Riot games is the worst gaming company on earth.
1 tap range should just be increased slightly as dink 140 and then dying is the main reason people don’t like it
if u are comfortable with vandal, use it all map, same with phantom (phantom is practice needed to fight long range btw)
some pros use phantom on breeze all the time bc of that. For me, these 2 guns are perfectly balanced on every map, comparisons dont have any meaning
me when the first skin i bought is phantom
Anyone notice how a pro player is using a smite phantom skin
I use them the same lol, it just depends on what I wish to do. If I want to go loud and aggressive I choose vandal, if I want to go stealthy and cautiously I choose phantom. Then again, I’m only Gold 1 lol
started game from phantom ended on vandal
i feel like breeze and pearl has been played a lot and that may be why the rate is so high, although i dont actually know and would have to see the stats
vandal has always been better people just arent smart pros are starting to figure it out most the time its just vandal in high elo cs system is way better with guns ct and t sided but riots a dipshit company and valve knows how to perfectly balance a game is what it is
Phanton should be cheaper then vandal, imo 2700 or 2800
