i joined one match and got flamed on for no reason i dont even think i spoke more than 3 words. After that match i cried hard LOL my bf sadly got perma banned from valorant and he genuinely hates when i go on the game due to the reason of the community being so toxic towards women.

Tbh I’m really glad I never experienced something like that when there was a female in my lobby, like ever and I fucking hope it stays that way. It’s actually surprising the number of games I had with females where nobody even referenced the fact that one of our team mate was a woman. Hope I never have to witness that kind of shit in game

Bro these videos make my fight or flight instincts flare. Like dealing with this in a game is preposterous. Genuinely so angry whenever this happens because a majority of the time they can’t even play the game half decently to save their lives but yeah no please harass me more for something I have no control over. Hello very late to the party, I am a girl who recently returned to valorant a couple of days ago, from SEA (so yes, the toxicity in SEA servers is another level… and also an experience lol but not all valo players from SEA are toxic) and I understand you and hear you and your reason is valid. My male classmate (who also plays valo and can be toxic) was so amazed on the composure and calmness and also the level of unbothered I give that I exhibited in-game other than the constant palpitations and hyperventilations caused by anxiousness and lack of confidence. I’m really sorry for the events that you experienced

And also, i didn’t get to finish it becauae the way these guys called you slurs and stuff made me uncomfortable. I’m glad you still continue to smile despite the experience!

You know, it’s kinda ironic that the person that complains about toxicity in a COMPETITIVE FPS GAME calls people sensitive. You do know FPS games were always toxic because they were so competitive, right? It doesn’t matter if you’re a female, male, Boeing 777 or a toaster, people WILL be toxic to you. My advice is to not complain about it and just play as a team because at the end of the day it’s just virtual guns and random people, it doesn’t matter.
