I am on a 60hz laptop with 100+plus ping and no headphones am g3 rn might reach plat soon but if i had better monitor and decent gear radiant would be so ez ngl (its really hard to play against guyz with 15 ping men kill me with bodies faster than a headshot no cap)

I’m surprised at a lot of people chimin in with well over 1000+ eDPIs. You guys need to go below 500 if you want to climb out of silver, that high is impossible to microadjust or track smoothly with even remotely well

People say that radiant is hard, but anybody who has been hard stuck iron knows that the real challenge is iron unpredictably. The habits that high elo developed so far let you like or rat, but irons are paranoid about everything, so you can’t play off angles effectively. The only thing is that flashing and smokes are more effective

I think i see a few issues here with the way skye is playing. Overall the aim is good but gamesense could use a bit more work

1. Partitioning the map – hold angles or peek angles where you are at most visible by one enemy. Even if you don’t know exactly where the enemy is, you have a rough idea of where people can push from. For example, on breeze, there are only two entrances to site, and there are a few common places where enemies may sit (cubby, mid doors, close pyramid, etc).
2. Flash technique – getting the most out of your flashes, triggering the skye flash as soon as possible when going through smokes, etc. Make sure your opponents don’t have enough time to react to them. There is also a nice tech where you can purposely keep the flash flying, to force the enemies to turn around.
3. Util usage – any flash is better than no flash! Use your flash on attack to initiate and gather info.
4. Don’t panic – during post-plant, don’t be afraid to play selfishly! No need to stand out in the open to heal teammates, and double up on choke points to swing the defuser together.
5. Moving for moving’s sake – when you hold angles, sometimes you are jiggling too much, causing your aim to no be prepared when someone swings you. Keep calm!
6. Don’t overheat – it feels nice to get kills, but if you overheat and die in a 1v1 (especially in post plant situations), that’s obviously bad. Experiment with different types of peeks (jiggle, info gather, wide swing, etc) to get the most advantage out of your 1v1s.

Aim can only carry you so far, the rest of the ranks are separated by gamesense and teamwork!

someone playing ok with a higher rank doesn’t mean they belong there. i am gold, i sometimes play with my immo friend and i do okay, but that doesn’t mean i can bring the same benefits that someone in a higher rank brings to the table. my aim might be good that day, maybe i can get some frags, maybe i play well some rounds and clutch, but that doesn’t mean that i’m using my abilities in the same way and playing off of my teammates to secure rounds etc. the same way or thinking about the game the same way an immortal does.

U made couple vid abt “this player deserve this rank that rank” but most of the reason they said is abt teammates, i have idea maybe look for the one play on low elo bcz of their laptop spec (play in 60fps) but their gamesense and aim are decent and deserve higher rank. Cuz me myself have hard time playing in 60 fps and stuck at silver but now i upgrade my laptop abit i can play in 90 fps i reached plat.
