It’s even better when you think about how enemy knows that they are playing against POPPIN and an enemy might automatically think “2 steps ahead” when POPPIN might stop, but they can never be too sure and he can immediately stop at any moment and hit you first. Especially in the more open areas, like mid and in the spawn areas. His aim is cracked, I need POPPIN & GRIM together doing their magic.

EDIT: Tried poppin swings in Unrated today, it actually works nicely and completely catches enemies off guard. It’s a fun technique for sure.

when i realize enemy team has good pc, meaning they hit shots super fast, i jsut poppin and own them, i learned this playing agaisn my friends with good PCs, regular peeks against them are just too riski, mfs have 144hz, you can’t beat that with a normal swing, so i jsut go wide and they whiff

Its kind of sad honestly when POPPIN played in gold lobbies, he only got 4-5 good swings in his video, the rest of the time he was shot immediately.
Ive had some of my immortal friends go against gold players in a 5 stack, they still would lose even if they did the swing. I don’t know how POPPIN does it, but the enemies just don’t hit a single shot on him.

The reason people have “bad tracking in valorant” is not because their tracking is actually bad. Its because the mechanics in valorant change how you calibrate your aim. I guarantee you take any valorant player and put them in midrange long strafes on kovaak and their tracking is leagues better than in valorant. But that is because your mind is calibrated to that system. Because valorant recoil doesn’t follow the crosshair and because all headshots are either lethal or semi lethal it prioritizes crosshair placement and an accirate first shot with tracking as a secondary priority. Many other shooters are designed such that tracking is the first priority not a secondary.
Basically in valorant your brain code switches to focus on that very first shot/burst+recoil system makes whiffs possible that you would never see in others games due to shots following the crosshair.
