I was gonna reply this on a comment, but I figured I should comment for my own, honestly…

If you have the time, and you DESERVE a higher rank, you will rank up sometime or someday. I don’t play too much ranked because I prefer to play for fun with my friends on normal/unrated, but I was Gold for a couple of acts, and I knew I could go at least plat. So, I did my “qualifiers” and placed Gold 2. I did 3 games, the first being a defeat, then I placed Gold 2, the second one I won, and then the third game I won and jumped from Gold 2 to Plat 1 because I did pretty well on the second and third game (I was in the middle of the scoreboard on the first game, then top of the scoreboard on both last games, but the second one I got match mvp, and the third one I was top third of the match).

So yeah, if you think that you actually deserve to be a higher rank, and if you have the time and patience to put into it, then you will rank up after a while, even if you’re the unluckiest person alive and get a troll or a “dumb” player on most matches, because doing well for your own will grant some extra points for you to actually rank up someday. I have friends that think like the person on this video, saying that they deserve a higher rank and that they don’t play badly compared to their team. But if you think like this, and don’t actually observe yourself first, you’ll get caught making some “curious” decisions and doing dumb stuff (Like pulling the knife every 2 seconds XD). I can’t just tell my friends that they “aren’t good enough” because I don’t want them to be sad, but it is true most of the time. Sometimes they play well and stuff, but most of the time they aren’t consistent enough to do good plays when they need to. And that would be totally fine if they didn’t complaint most of the time about their teammates, and not about themselves for making a “dumb” or bad play.

I’m in no way, shape or form good enough for diamond or higher yet (At least for now, I think), and I’m not the “absolute owner of the reason”, but I do see a lot of people saying they deserve a higher rank, when actually they are just where they deserve to be. Maybe because it is easier to see other people’s problems than seeing yours in-game, but I do know that when I spectate my lower rank friends, I sometimes question their plays and their placements, and the same might happen to friends of higher rank reacting to my plays, and so on. It’s normal after all, no one starts being cracked at a game out of nowhere. But if you actually want to “improve”, I think you should stop looking at other people, and first look at yourself. Maybe try to get help from a higher rank friend and stuff, if you don’t see any problems with yourself right out of the gate. Maybe streaming for them on discord, or playing a normal game with them or something like that, because chances are that you’ll get some feedback on your gameplay that could be improved, other than just being like “This teammate is bad lmao” XD.

Me personally was an iron, cuz i only play like couple of competitive game to unlock the rank. But i always play spike rush due to the short amount of time i had to play. And oh god this is averages silvers?. My spike rush enemy would be like plat bruh
