I love to call these content “makers” a selfjacking off ego boosting people because some of them are playing on silver not to “humiliate” lower elo players but to boost their own ego about their skill. “Look, I am so good with sheriff I can climb my way all the way to immortal!” or “Look, I am so good with REYNA so I can destroy plat players like it’s nothing while being a radiant myself!” and etc etc. I can understand when people are going to low elo just because of players in their team, to find some funny and cool people to make a video with. Like, at least that has a purpose. Just like those silver rank in csgo videos where they just find people who say all kinds of stuff in chat. But people who are going for low rank to tryhard are just ugh.

od26 (the guy with the ion sheriff) is actually a good coach. he apologized 2 weeks ago and said he did it because he was in debt and it was just content that worked. he obviously no longer does smurfing content.
