Riot is already killing valorant’s esport. Just look at cs go how many tourneys they have and how fast they happen. Doesn’t take weeks to complete the one tournament which only ever happens every four months. Franchising is always a bad idea in esports. It shrinks the potential of the esport to grow plain and simple.
What is a e sport roaster? I been too scared to ask lol
we could keep the vct system so tier 2 teams get a chance to compete against tier 1, so that they get exposure abs a chance to prove themselves
im all for it but i hope they just realize what blizzard did wrong and don’t make a repeat
wait does this also mean all regions will have equal representation? because i’d like more up and coming regions to be able to be shortlisted!
Whats a roster?
I think they should just create domestic league like premier league and championship league. At least tier 2 team that performs well can get promoted to tier 1 league and tier 1 league that did not do well will fall off to tier 2 league, forcing them to improve.

The way i think is best would be that its 8 members for NA in the top league. But each season theres a demotion spot down to t2 league for aseason and a promo spot in the tier 2 league so the best teams can get from tier 2 or 3 whatever to top tier
I’m a lil slow, does a tier 3 team not be able to move to tier 2? If they do then how is it different from the normal esport tournaments- like does the lower teams still compete within their tier instead of being out once they lose?
Why is a league more dire than a tournament, r the ppl in normal tournament more pro?
Overwatch didn’t die because pro play was bad. It died due to a lack of updates. I don’t think this matters that much.
Narrator: “There needs to be a large tee 2 scene, and a way to keep tier 2 teams able to play tier 1 teams competitively,”
Me: Ever heard of a promotion/relegation system?
They can try to immitate the DPC system from dota 2 i think to account for tier 2 teams
shut the nonsense, just tell the pointffs
Just like DOTA2’s DPC div1 Div2 group sucks.
riot said that the Valorant solo queue will be used for scouting for talent in 2023. So the grassgroots are there. We are just waiting to see what Riot does with it.
There needs to be at least 2 divisions set up and have promotion and relegation, with the goal of expanding either the number of teams in each division or adding more divisions.
They should make a promotion relegation system much like the premier league
I am a bit afraid, because I remember of the CGS (championship global séries) which was a terrible thing, apart from the 2008 crisis and apart from the cs:source issue.
But I think it’s a good thing. 80% of the team and players in the masters are the same, especially when it comes to brazil, latam, japan, Korean and south Asia.
There is a need for a good T2 tour but I think riot will do well. Regional Leagues have already a bunch of a success (at least for France) despite none of those teams are reknown at an international level.
Do it like European football where the teams get relegated and promoted based on performance throughout the season every split teams go up and down
This is great because no matter how good or bad a team is doing their fans always have a reason to cheer so they don’t get relegated to the lower league or for them to get promoted to the upper leagues.
