Riot needs to change their logo from a fist bump to a hand doing the L sign💯
This video is absolutely embarassing. This turret behavior is definitely an unintended bug, this mechanic is not even consistent. The turret was looking heaven and shot a target on gardens . The only qurstion that matters is if there was a blatant violation of the competitive integrity or not, and the answer is absolutely yes beyond a reasonable doubt, therefor the round had to be replayed. Its not about the bug that happend, its about how the specific bug caused a violation of the competitive integrity in that specific moment. The only problem was that round had to be replayed instantly. It doesn’t matter if Xset wanted to play or what FPX and the social media think, there’s a rule book to preserve competitive integrity and its above all, Riot did well here with the only execption of the late replay.
There is no way xset wasn’t involved in the replay decision making. Xset cried when optic took a tech pause and then they cried when xset won fair and square.
4:57 WE DONT😑😑
Xset is only fan favourite of north America. No one outside of na supports NA teams, coz obviously.. Emea teams have ex csgo players everyone loves.
Why the heck is XSET getting flamed in the first place? I think even if Riot knew about this bug before this chaos, XSET isn’t to blame and deserved at least a second chance to make sure they won or lost fair and square? Why is this called as BS? It makes total sense to me that this ruling happened. It’s pro play where all eyes are on them, they lost the first time because of a bug. That shouldn’t happen. Ergo, they get a second chance. They lose second chance fair and square this time, end of story. I think it’s cool of riot to ensure their competitive tourneys are clean.
Godly flick by bot
Watching XSET get absolutely slammed on Twitter was really disheartening. Especially when it was FPX players leading the charge as well as other pro players all jumping on XSET for something they didn’t even do.
Not a mistake at all, it was a great call. They should’ve started replaying rounds like this earlier. If a bug has affected a round to a degree that is noticeable, it should be replayed.
I propose that Riot implements a review pro ess similar to the NFL. Each team gets around 3 or so reviews a series for unintentiinal bugs or abuse of bugs. If a referee or committee find that the claim was valid, replay the round. If the ref or committee find the claim invalid, remove a timeout for the team who called the review.
We want to know which team is best and bugs in a close game can give an edge, helping a team who shouldnt have won the round to win the round. The only factors I want to see in a game is the teams’ skill (in game performance) and perserverance (how well the team can handle the crowd and lost matches). No one should lose because of something they can’t control, they should lose because they played worse.
I know it’s hard to minimize variables that shouldn’t be affecting games but we should at least try. I know it’s hard to make sure nobody abuses systems put in place for things like this but there are aolutions.
Thank you very much , now I will understand the functionality
After riot decided to replay that round it was a lose-lose scenario for xcet
i dont know why they had to replay the round, bcz the turret bug didnt affect that round at all. yes the KAYO looked at heaven but once omen shoot the turret everything went back normal. they even had KJ playing on heaven
Easiest way is just fix the turret so that as soon as it doesn’t see the enemy anymore, it stops shooting bullet.
hating because of this is just the most unemployed thing I’ve ever seen
Yes, Riot did make the decision, and yes XSET didn’t ask for it. However, XSET still deserves the clowning tbh. They have been complaining all tournament. First it was “OpTic is abusing tech pauses”, when one of the optic player’s PCs literally needed to be replaced. Then before Riot made the decision to replay the round in this match, they complained about the KJ turret bug, and were blaming solely that on their loss. Grow up and play better, maybe you’ll win a tourney sometime.
