A great example of a game that never dies in team fortress 2, the game hasn’t received any significant update in years up until recently, and even then the update was mostly made by the community (the devs just added them officially to the game). The reason why it’s not dead is because it’s ran by community not the developers, they know what the players need the most and from that they made new gamemodes, nerfs/buffs, community servers and such.

The game definitely needs more conent to retain players. The competitive experience is top notch, but that’s about it. There isn’t much left for casual players aside from variants of the competitive mode to warm up for ranked. I’d love to see something like Forge from Halo that allows players to build their own maps with the assets of Valorant so people can make some cool custom content without the need for modding.

I quit valorant a few months ago, i still played for sometime but mostly only 1 game or so. It just doesnt seem as fun as before, I miss replucation and that game mode was the only game mode that i played valorant for. It was actually fun

I personally think, we need more casual and funny ideas and make videos about it. I don’t really know how many people play Valorant surely more then 10 Million, we all are so creative that we need to make videos of creative game modes and explain why it would be good and share it with other people so it gets a lot of views from everywhere from US to EU and Asia and make valorant content creators to watch it and what their thoughts about it, so we have a more highly chance of being listen to.

Valorant should really add fun game-modes for people who don’t necessarily like ranked, also solo gamemodes, I mean we only got the jump thing in the shooting range wich is completely ass, they should add surf or different mods like on csgo or just fun gamemodes you can play just to relax and enjoy

If we aren’t playing valorant what other good multiplayer games are there anymore? Cod is terrible now, overwatch 2 is boring, Cs is kinda boring cs2 will be good for a bit when it comes out but there just isn’t many good options anymore other than Val

I’m pretty sure that we have data that shows custom modes (or community support stuff) aren’t as popular that people think. Ye it’s true that they create their own sub communities and that way they are beneficial for the content creators.

I don’t know if the illusion comes from the fact that for example Valve doesn’t do anything therefore the game NEEDS the community for survive.

If we look the numbers and everything that people complain that Valorant doesn’t have vs CS.

CS has community support, replaysystem, “easy to follow” esports (we have data that shows this isn’t important at all) and other stuff. And yet It took CS 20 YEARS for 24-30M players. And for me thats kinda pathetic number for 20 years.

I don’t know if people realize this what Riot did with 10 years. League games has 50M MORE active players than WHOLE Steam combine. (League doesn’t have community support btw)

It just seems that people who complain stuff are just their own bubble that doesn’t reflect reality at all. How many years I have seen these kind of videos about League and yet League is still going strong with all the things.

Also hire community members so that they can try to add agents that are fun to play and play around without being a massive grind to learn, get more skins in the game that feel special and don’t require me to take out a second mortgage, and make more maintained modes or pick community servers to highlight

i just started playing valorant a month ago. Silver has at least 1 smurf every game. I thought it would be fun and at this point i’m just waiting for cs 2. I used to play csgo a couple years back but stopped because of school/work. I was global and i went back and played some cs and i’m still good but holy crap valorant teammates are horrible. Something about the abilities just make people stupid. In csgo if you go smurf in ranked you get a 10 day timeout or more from playing a ranked game. Play another after and it will be longer. Reporting smurfs actually works in cs

Besides creating community servers for players, Riot should also make an actual, legitimate story mode/campaign mode, that will make you more engaged into Valorant lore – the lore it’s great itself but it is being served by the least appealing way of storytelling.

TL;DR: Riot should add community servers for players and full-fledged story mode/campaign mode (improving storytelling first).

When you eat the same food everyday, all day, you’ll get bored of it very quickly, why is that not the same for video games? Do other shit, play other genres, go outside.
