im sorry for the silent games you guys went through but from my experience i rather stay silent…. as a female player i often get called out everytime i talk for example ew a women or omg an egirl so i just decide to stay silent… and some even try to hit on me by forcing deep voice and shiz… i hate those so i became afraid to talk in voice chat because there is always one person like that in a lobby… they’ll try to distract me by always following me and standing infront of me or force me to say ara ara or uwu like those type of cringe stuff…. i rather have a game filled with toxic people than edaters

A few points I want to talk about given that I have limited knowledge about everything in general and as a casual player:

1) I mostly play Valorant with friends – and that’s because I want to have fun. It can be quite malding, I agree, if I hop onto a game and then there’s toxic players or throwers that makes the game itself less fun. But that’s part of what Valorant content creators do – they queue up with friends, and their clips can consist of themselves doing stupid stuff and them and their friends (or even pubs) having a good laugh. They have this personality that shines through their clips.

2) Fortnite is a different kind of genre from Valorant and CSGO, of course there are going to be a lot of different things for players to play around with. That being said, I would agree that allowing players to have their own servers and communities to mod things around would make the game very fun.

3) I used to follow Eggwick last time, but sort of just stopped (with Valorant content creators in general), but I remember there was a time when he actually mentioned he wanted to pivot to Halo Infinite content when it came out, but his one video did badly, so he just went straight back to Valorant. I suppose my point is he probably will continue with more Valorant stuff from the time being with him hosting his custom games where people just do fun stuff – and this is without me watching the video you brought up in this clip)

4) Valorant’s trying to create new maps and characters while making questionable changes to their old maps and characters, which really frustrates me as well. But oh well it probably will go on as usual for a while if the viewership for the Valorant Champions Tour remains high, because that’s their main focus for the game anyways.

Valorant tries to be a competitive game which is fair but that leaves no room for any casual players cuz all the gamemodes are as listed:

Competitive but not ranked (unranked)
Competitive but ranked (competitive)
Competitive but shorter (swiftplay)
Competitive but even shorter and more bullshit (spikerush)
Tryhard clip paradise (deathmatch)
Not so competitive but annoying (escelation)
Tryhard clip paradise 2 (team deathmatch)

there is no room for casual players where as CS literally has a mode called casual and it has community servers which add more options for casual players and even some competitive players which makes the game actually last long. Community servers are the reason TF2 VALVE’s other forgotten middle child of a game is still alive its because of community servers

Valorant is losing its fire too many agents… lack of solid gunplay rng running and gunning, heavy smurfs not allowing lower level players to grow, not balancing all existing agents, heavy toxicity even more so than CS because Valorant has an extremely high emphasis on team roles and smokes and flasges and team play with disgusting toxic teammates ruining the experience, instalockers bottom fragging, lack of communication, guns such as the odin judge and bucky which are ridiculously overpowered in their categories etc etc. And instead of adding new agents not focussing on getting these features fixed is what has personally exhausted me

maybe a battle royale mode would be cool like you drop down and you get random ability from chest and gun from the ground and airdrop could be like a buff in spike rush ( just an 1min thinking idea)
