Yoru is good for Ranked. Not for Pro Play, Riot has to choose one side or pull of a miracle balance patch
The one problem with players playing Yoru (including Forsaken to some extent) is that setup plays that aim to make full use of his kit has him being played from an entry fragger to a lurker. This is not a problem in itself since Yoru revels in misdirection and paranoia. However, shackling him to structured plays sorta drowns his potential as an duelist-initiator and neuter his role as a gatecrashing duelist.
So far though, to make full use of his kit, the Yoru player either has to be the IGL (like in FPX) or be in a team full of W-key warriors (e.g. PRX).
What are your thoughts on a change to his ult. The specifics of it would have to be determined, but let him enter and exit his ult a few times if he chooses before it’s over. Like if during the timer you could exit and re enter the ult 2 times. Might give him some more aggressive positioning options that will be a consistent threat.
HOW TO FIX YORU:
1. Controllable TP like Skye’s flash/Fade’s prowler (control distance has limit)
2. Remove clone and replace it with 2 smokes (literally like Jett’s smokes)
3. ???
4. Profit, we have Jett with unlimited dash distance
Honestly while I would like Yoru to be a bit better I don’t mind him being a niche pick. I find the fact that hes not picked all the time to be a major reason for why he’s so exciting to watch, if he were very common people would get tired of him.
they should make it so u can control his clone and make fake bullet sounds, so it can be more reliable intel and moves more like a real player, his tp should either be silent or the delay between tp and pulling gun out should br reduced

As a yoru main, here are some ideas to buff him:
When decoy is anchored down, you should be able to activate without looking directly on it
Faster teleport & gun pullout speed
Flash path should be 50% shorter, that way it is harder to dodge
Flash time should be increased from 1.5 seconds to 2 seconds
I think it’s a style problem. The YEET strats are limited and predictable cheese; there are other ways to use him (shorter range teleports, fakes etc) that haven’t been used in pro play because he requires so much specialization to master across maps.
Frankly I don’t see the need to have ALL agents be viable at the pro level. It is obvious that pro and ranked are two very different games in terms of teamwork, executes and everything. I think it is completely fair for some agents to be really good at ranked soloQ (Yoru, Reyna, Phoenix) and some agents to be really good at the pro level (pretty much all other agents except cypher, who really needs a buff). Designing and balancing a game with only pros in mind (who are ridiculously outnumbered by the normies) is probably not good in the long run.
